Getting to Know the Page of Pentacles
A Page of Pentacles is a very special young person. For one thing, common sense in this young being shines bright.
For another, the Page of Pentacles pays attention to what is going on around her. She’s got her eye on the future and is, seemingly from the beginning, deciding what she wants to do as an adult.
There is a curiosity about outside events. And, when you add an interest in animals, you have a distinct combination.
It’s common for Pages of Pentacles to be good with their hands. This can be cooking, building, sewing, or growing. Whatever the activity, this child is generally outside and alone.
It’s no surprise when this page thinks about the future in a personal way. This may include saving money at an early age. This young one can grasp the concept of abundance.
One thing: This Page has a purpose with an eye for the future.
Getting to Know the Page of Pentacles
I met my favorite Page of Pentacles when I was going through a career change in my 50s. She and I were both doing the same thing. We were learning everything we could about dogs. The difference here was that I was 50-something and she was much, much younger.
It was summer. I was learning canine massage and interspecies animal communication, and she was a fellow student.
One thing here: I give her parents credit for responding to their daughter’s needs – especially at such a young age.
And, it was a good move. She was a talented communicator, and her excellence stood out. This was simply just a good thing to happen for her at this time in her life.
At this young lady’s insistence, they were able to see their daughter learn everything about dogs that they could arrange.
And learn she did! Her enthusiasm and independence stood out in the class. Here was a young student motivating the rest of us who were decades older. It was fun to study with her. After all, she was the youngest student, and I was the oldest.
She talked about upcoming classes with animal training, grooming, and companion animal massage. All these things seemed to be on the edge of the mainstream of her community. It made sense. For sure, no university was interested in her at her young age.
This meant that by the time she was an adult, she had a head start training with her career. Although I have not heard from her or seen her in years, I’m sure she has experienced unique and wonderful opportunities.
Every once in awhile, when I’m taking a pet to a veterinary clinic for a visit, I see a Page of Pentacles grown up and I think to myself “This could be what she’s doing now.” I feel proud to have known her.

Meditation
Go to your private and safe place. Light a candle and maybe incense if you want. Turn on quiet music. Or not. Relax as comfortably as you can in your chair. Close your eyes.
When you are comfortable, take a few deep breaths and just relax. Relax your jaws and shoulders. Breathe in fresh, clean, healing air and breathe out toxins and negativity. When you are completely relaxed, you open your eyes and look around.
You find yourself in a beachside park, and you decide to walk to the beach. You remove your shoes. As you walk along, you feel that it is time to unload any leftover anxiety and negativity.
You look around and find a trash can nearby. You walk over to the container and discard your fears, anxiety, and anything else negative.
You continue on your walk to the beach. You walk along until you are at the water’s edge. You step into the water and find that you are ankle-deep in a very comfortable place with gentle water lapping at your feet.
Walking along the edge of the water, you feel the warm sunshine moving over your head and down your body. This gentle, soothing warmth moves down your shoulders, your back, and your arms.
This warmth slowly spreads over your body, relaxing your entire body. As it travels down your body, you feel the warmth relaxing and soothing every cell.
This warmth lightens your body. You feel like you weigh less now. You realize the anxiety that left your body a few minutes ago makes it easier to move around. The negativity that left your body also makes it easier to experience the warmth of the water.
As you notice how life can be easier without anxiety and negativity, you take a moment and realize that you are now at peace.
This is a moment for gratitude. You rejoice in gratitude.
