What do You Want to Manifest? Five Tips for Success

Several days ago, I researched a special gift for a colleague.  What I was looking for was for the perfect gift.  I considered a Snowflake.  She would really enjoy a snowflake!  Where was I going to find a snowflake, of all things?

I put this thought aside.

Then, guess what.  Three days later, a snowflake catalogue landed in my mailbox!  The perfect gift appeared on page 3.  I had a choice of a charm, a pendant, an ornament, or a pin.  The prices were right.  Whichever one I chose, she was going to be delighted.

For me, this was not a coincidence.  Spiritually, I participated in this mailbox event.

We all have these experiences. The trick is to recognize them for what they are.  But, you can have these special coincidences and also have challenges with other manifestations.

There is a difference between manifesting a picture in a catalogue and manifesting a something else such as a new car, house, or a dream job.

MANIFESTING on all levels begins when you clarify what is important for you.  Once you define your values and what is precious to you, manifesting what you need is going to be easier.

The bottom line:  WHY DO YOU DO WHAT YOU DO?

What do YOU think is important?  Clearly know what is important to you – not what your mother or your friends or your boss or your social media friends think is important.

What do I want…really?  What do I yearn for spiritually?  Emotionally, what do I want to experience?

Dream about the world you want to create and live in.  This world that you are dreaming of:

Is it responsive –

Do positive relationships matter –

How does cooperation fit into your life –

Does support reach out in vulnerable situations and places –

Is there a reverence for the sacred –

Now, envision what this world is to you.  What are you going to do to create this world?

What are you passionate about?

FIRST

Define the person or persons you are concerned about.  How will they fit in your manifested scenario?  How do they define the situation you are focusing on?

Focus on the situation.  Are you passionate about a physical space (a building perhaps) or an energetic situation (leadership or healing)?

SECOND

Know your goals.  Do you need to sell your home?  Do you need a better job in a new city?  Do you need to retrain yourself for the future?

THIRD

What is your manifesting outcome?  (A suggestion here – write this down.)

A journal is the perfect tool to bring with you on your manifestation journey.   As you write in your journal daily, you have the opportunity to unlock information and secrets to help guide you to your goals.  Your entries can give you information about possible challenges.  You may discover concerns hiding just beneath the secret of your consciousness.

Reviewing your journal in later readings, you may find that your future is not predetermined.  Over the months, what you find in your journal reveals things that can change your attitudes, behaviors, and how you respond to events.

Your future can improve your insights and options in ways that work best for you.

FOURTH.

What is your promise?  (What do you have invested in your goal? What are you prepared to do to make your promise a reality? How do you visualize achieving your goals?)

FIFTH

How is your gratitude circle developing? Gratitude is more powerful than fear, worry, anger and anxiety.  Gratitude is where you tap into your abundance.  Developing your gratitude circle taps you into your unlimited options.

When you are in a manifesting mode, nurturing is helpful.  By that, I mean   nurture yourself, your goals, and your concerns.

Maybe things need a REBALANCE.  When it comes to money and finances, seek fair, sensible, and practical solutions focusing on comfort and confidence while caring for others and your surroundings. You want the money you distribute to produce tangible results.

SELF-CARE is a deeply personal process you use to regain physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual balance.  Self-care facilitates rebalance.

MEDITATIONS can help you reach your goals.  Try an 8-week series of daily meditations for 10-15 minutes each.  You may want to read a guided meditation daily.  For years, I’ve relied on a set of three meditation books by Larry Moen.  They are still available on Amazon:  “Meditations for Awakening, Meditations for Transformation, Meditations for Healing”

Or you may want to create your own guided meditation.

Finally, you may prefer to focus a few minutes daily on your breath and breathing as you reach calm.

Whatever path you choose for your meditations, daily focus helps you.  Don’t get bogged down with rules.  Just remember:  minds like to wander.  It’s okay.  Also, trust your inner wisdom to get you there.

Use your senses to see your dreams and goals coming to life.  You’ll play a mental movie where you are the director.  As you mentally enact your dreams, you will make them a reality.

Finally, TAKE ACTION.  This is a weekly event where you do something each week to help you progress toward your goal.

Whenever you can, include reflexology or Reiki therapy sessions in your weekly progress.  Every session helps!

A Sacred Second Chakra Meditation: Inner Peace, Security, and Self-Acceptance

This meditation is ideal for relaxation because it supports inner peace, security, and self-acceptance.

Relax and get comfortable in a calm location where you will not be disturbed for a few moments.

Take several slow, deep breaths.

With each inhale, imagine your breath energizing the area two inches below your navel.  Gently massage this point with two fingers.

With each exhale, imagine a small orange ball carrying fears, stress, and pain away.

Now, inhale deeply twice.  Breathe into a point about two inches below your navel.  Release this breath through your mouth.

Imagine you are lying on a beautiful, quiet boat which is just big enough for you.  There is no room for anyone or anything but yourself.

While you are lying on this boat in the middle of a beautiful pond, things are still and peaceful.  The pond has many flowers along the beach.   As you focus on them, you see they are various shades of orange,  and coral.

Let your body become heavy and relaxed as you get more comfortable on this tiny boat.

You feel the space, the peace, stillness.  Breathe into the stillness and the abundance of the flowers and the water in the pond.

The overhead sky has a warm, glowing light allowing you to feel beauty, peace, energy.

A gentle breeze moves your small boat along the edge of the pond into a gently flowing stream.. As you look above, you see billowing clouds with a faint orange and gold tint. They move lazily overhead.

The flowers and clouds protect you so you feel safe.

You feel warm and at peace.

Breathe into the peace and gentle energy of just being yourself.  Drifting down the stream, you relax even more and appreciate  the energy, the peace, the flowers and the clouds.

You realize you don’t have to do anything, just breathe and enjoy yourself.  As your boat gently drifts along, you feel warm.  This warmth is healing.  You feel quiet, peaceful.  You breathe in peace, health, relaxation.

As you breathe out, exhale anything you want to release.

It’s time to return to your body and become conscious of yourself.  Gently you move your fingers and toes to become more aware of returning to your location.

When you open your eyes, you remember the peace and energy you felt in the orange flowers and the orange-tinged clouds.

You know you can return to this place any time you want.

When you are ready, continue on with your activities.

At One With the Earth – a First Chakra Grounding Meditation

I was inspired to share this meditation after an experience when I deeply understood the interconnectedness of all beings.  My goal in this meditation is for us all to be closer to the oneness we have with this planet.

Sometimes we don’t feel the connection.  And, I realize that some people never experience this oneness.

Use this meditation to connect with your place of inner peace and grounding.

           PAUSE

Get comfortable on the floor, healing table, or other flat space.  Position your body  face up.

Breathe slowly and deeply.  With each breath, your body  relaxes  more.

You feel a greater sense of awareness; experience a very peaceful feeling.

You are filling your body with a feeling of lightness.

When this happens, you know you can come out of this experience any time you want by simply opening your eyes.

PAUSE

Release  your conscious thoughts, letting go of  “mental activity.”  You are in this place at this moment.

You feel so light now that you can lift up off the floor.  You feel yourself  gently floating.

A carpet appears at your side.  It is just big enough to hold you.

When you climb on, this carpet gently lifts you up.  You gradually move up – up  through the ceiling.

Riding on your carpet, you move up,  above the trees and the skyline.

Glancing down,  you see the treetops appearing gradually smaller and smaller.

Stretching out on your carpet, you drift up – right through a cloud.

You feel warm sunshine on your entire body.   Your body absorbs a beautiful pale red light.

You look down at the earth now and see it as a ball of light.

PAUSE

Your carpet begins to slowly descend to the earth.  Passing  through a billowy cloud,  you see the skyline, now familiar from the trip up.  You see the tree tops.

You peacefully return to the place where you began your journey.

You are grounded, and calm.  You feel safe and secure.

Know that you can return to this space any time you desire.

Take a couple deep breaths and sit up.  Continue your day now – energized,

rejuvenated, and rested.  You feel more grounded and calm.

Go in peace!

Thank you for reading this meditation.

Stress Busting Starts Here!

Let’s face this right now.  Diets are stressful.

So is everything else when you’re dieting.

Even before you settle on the diet you’re going to adopt, find your stress busters.  .

The bottom line is this:  choose activities to do when you feel stressed.  You don’t want to eat to combat stress.

Choose your healthy coping mechanism from dancing, gardening, journaling, meditating, puzzles, reading, singing, volunteering.

If you are a member of the right gym, you’ll be able to take advantage of stress busting activities offered.  These may include yoga, zumba, spinning, and dozens of other activities.

Cultivate simple things you can do at home and at work to lift your spirits.  These can include midday walks and  playing relaxing music.

The idea is to have activities which don’t include munching on nuts and candies.

Walking 10,000 steps daily is a good stress reducing goal.

A weekly bodywork session can only be good for you and your diet success.  Of course, I recommend reflexology, reiki therapy, or mindfulness meditation.

Your options are in the hundreds.  Choose the most relaxing options for you and your lifestyle.

Two effective stress-reducing habits which can help you include keeping an appointment calendar and an ongoing to-do list.

Life is filled with small stressors which can be avoided with a calendar and a list.

For example, with a to-do list at the grocery store, you won’t leave out a key ingredient for a meal.  This seems like a small enough thing but if you’re stressed already, that missing item can be the one that complicates your life.

A calendar will make sure you don’t miss an appointment.   Your life can be streamlined and easier if you use it to help you shop, keep up with friends and relatives, make appointments.

In reality, you’ll lose less time because you forgot something or someone.

When you include a gym membership in the mix with the calendar and the to-do list, you’ll be much more organized.    You’ll be more physically fit.  Your new diet will be an easier experience.
