Reflexology For The Spirit

spirituality of one's health

Your Crown Chakra Meditation

A crown chakra meditation is a good place for physical and spiritual healing.  This is where you encounter unconditional love.  You also channel wisdom and inspirational gifts of spirit guides and angelic beings.

Find a quiet, safe space for this meditation.

Begin by getting comfortable.  Sit, or lie down as you breathe slowly, evenly, and deeply to energize your crown chakra.

When you exhale, you release anger, fear, loss, negativity, and any other toxins.

Beginning with your first chakra, check in with each one as you greet it.

Now move up to your other chakras.  Touch or tap each chakra gently with your fingertips and note what sound or image you experience at each one.

You may or may not experience sounds, touch, smells.

You may want to record a word or two in a journal as you journey up your chakra path.

Arriving at your crown chakra, focus on where you are for a few minutes. Touch or tap your crown chakra as you focus on the center of your head.   What sensations do you feel?   Do you find a message here today?

You don’t have to feel, see, hear, or smell anything.  This is especially true if this is your first crown chakra meditation.  Whatever you experience, don’t worry.

Breathe into your crown chakra now.  Your mind is quiet.  Accept this moment as the blessing it is.   Take a few more crown chakra breaths to receive any feedback which may come to you as word, sound, song, image, color, feeling, intuitive message, awareness.

Your feedback may come to you at the moment, or later in the day or even a few days later.  Don’t try to rush things.

As your crown chakra meditation comes to an end, slowly move your body.  Bring yourself to your space gently and calmly.

Return to this meditation any time you want to communicate with your chakras.

Thank your chakras for this experience.

Self-Care: Choose You

Are you fried?

Have you nothing left to give?

Does your energetic body (which usually feels wondrous and fluffy), feel dried and flat like crushed cotton candy?

It doesn’t have to be that way.

There’s more in your soul – you just can’t find it right now because you’re running on empty.

It’s time to choose YOU – your whole you.  Honor your entire body – physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, energetic.

Your balanced whole body is ready for you to claim it.  It’s waiting.  Everything is connected.  Nothing operates independently.  Authentic balance comes from within and is different for everyone.

Your entire body has a shaggy footprint which includes everything – physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and energetic.

This includes your memories also.  Include your muscle   memories, your mental memories, your past-life memories, your emotional memories – everything.

When you discuss caring for your body, include diet, exercise, sleep.  Include choices, thought patterns, stress management, drugs.

Include meditation on your balance journey.  Focus on experiencing your self – your whole, entire self, which wants you to get to know it better.

Read this meditation as often as you want.  Allow your self to enjoy it.

Find a quiet, safe, and comfortable place to sit where you won’t be interrupted for a few minutes or so.  Allow your body to be supported by the chair, bed, or floor you have chosen.

Drink a glass of water.

Quiet your mind and check in with your self.

When thoughts enter your mind, encourage them to comfortably come and go.

Notice how you breathe for the moment.  Are your breaths shallow or deep?  It doesn’t matter, really.  Just notice your breath. – Notice how each each breath  brings in a pure white light.

This white light is perfect and healing.  It will stay with you.  It’s job is to heal and nurture.

This white light knows where the need is greatest.  It knows where to go.

As you breathe in, feel the healing energy riding on each breath.  Feel this energy spreading out from your lungs to every artery and vein in your body.  This white light  is healing and regenerating every cell in your entire body.

Now, take a deep breath.  Inhale and feel yourself relaxing.  Notice whether you are becoming  quiet.  Are you becoming still?

Where is your body tight?

What’s happening with your energy level?  Continue breathing in and out.  Allow your self to become relaxed, still.

Now, move your hands along your body, beginning at the crown of your your head.  Hold your hands several inches above your body.  What do you feel as you move your hands along your body?  Heat.  Cool. Quickly moving energy.  Slowly moving energy.  Stuck energy.

Is something stressing you?  What does this smell like?  How does it feel?  Do you hear stress?  Where does this stress feel comfortable?

How do your senses react to your stress.  What do you feel as you move your hands along your body?

(You can repeat this meditation many times as your hands become  comfortable with what they find.)

When you notice a stressed or stuck area of energy, communicate with this particular place using nurturing feelings, and thoughts.

Speak directly with this stressed place.  Tell this place that you love it, that you want it to be perfect.

Breathe in an extra breath of white light and focus it directly on the stressed place.

This process of sending white light to stress points and communicating with specific points using nurturing feelings and thoughts changes much. When you do this, you encourage your total self to release blockages, erace mistakes, and create perfect images.

See your self in perfection.  Your breaths, sending white light to your whole body, release feelings of health, alertness, and relaxation.

Etch this feeling in your mind now  so you can return to this feeling whenever  you want.

It is time to return to your room now.  Gently bring your awareness back to your day.  Remember that you can return to this place any time you want.

Thank you for including this journey in your day.

Healing Begins with Balance

BALANCE BEGINS WITH WATER

Sometimes I just get so busy.  I wonder how to keep up.  With everything happening in our world today, being busy, busier, busiest is a coping mechanism.

When I feel stressed or overinvolved, I come to a stop for a moment and remind myself that my balance begins with water.

Over half of our body weight is water.

Water is included in all the chemical activities that our body generates, whether we’re awake or asleep. Because water plays a vital role in everything we do, even minor dehydration affects our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual balance.

Keeping hydrated is crucial to your balance and grounding.

We lose water when we breathe, sweat, urinate, eat and digest food, walk around the block, sleep.  This is a continual process.

The #1 energy drink on the planet:  water.  You can supplement your need for water with fruits, vegetables, and other beverages like coffee, tea, and juice.

Water flushes out waste and toxins.  It prevents constipation.  Water optimizes kidney function, preventing kidney stones.

Water holds the balance between air and fire. Its energy is conscious.

Do you want to keep your energy level up and prevent fatigue?

Double your water consumption for two weeks.   If you don’t experience a distinct improvement in your energy level and overall feeling of wellness, make an appointment with a well-trained healthcare professional.

The person who might help you the best at this time is someone who will see you as a whole person and an individual.  A person who can look at the big picture for you is a good choice.  You might have a functional medicine doctor in your area.

Are you thinking of going on a diet?  Try this:  When you feel hungry, drink a glass of water first.

Are you interested in maintaining your youth?  There are several things you can do today along with your exercise:  Drink water. Drink more water.

Water is a good health promotion tool.

When you get serious about your water and your health, you are probably going to think about where your water comes from.

It may be time for a good water filter.  I have an under-the sink water filter which I use to clean the water I drink, the water I use to wash fresh veggies and fruits, the water I give to my pets, and the water I use to nourish my houseplants.

Your skin is your largest organ eliminating toxins throughout the day.

Bathing and showering are balancing and relaxing activities which can be an essential part of your spiritual and physical grounding program.

Bathing will get rid of heavy metals while getting rid of heavy thoughts.

Use water to unwind when you soak away toxins in a salts bath.  Set aside at least 15 minutes to relax in warm water to which you’ve added salts, herbs,  essential oils.  There are many options here for your enjoyment.

At the end of your soak, shower off with fresh water and dry your body with a clean towel.

Follow this with a dry brushing exercise.  Use a natural-bristle brush to softly brush your body, beginning with your feet and working your way up your head.

As you add new balancing health habits, include regular reflexology and Reiki therapy sessions.  Homeostasis is easier with regular balancing habits.

Finally, balance is a physical, mental, emotional, energetic, and spiritual experience.

Sometimes, achieving balance for your health requires releasing habits which do not promote balanced healing.

Achieving balance also calls for us to rebuild parts of your lifestyle and your self.

Goal setting is a basic part of the process.

Finally, as you achieve balance, you may find that you are losing a few people in your life.  Some new ones may join you.

These things may happen as you achieve a balanced healing state.

It’s amazing what can happen when you begin to drink water!

Move Into Your Future!

Are you ready to move into your future?

You’re at a good starting point now.  You’ve just lived through a couple of years where your life was different from anything you’ve experienced before.

Each of us has a different pandemic life experience.

For years, my job had a certain description, a certain pace.  Suddenly, the pandemic brought in new and different rules.  I remember that first Monday like a confusing dream.

One of my friends, on a road trip to California, got stuck somewhere in Nevada or Colorado for three weeks when everything shut down.

Another close friend went into her home and hasn’t come out yet.  When I visit with her over the phone, I wonder if I’ll ever see her again.  Social distancing is an art form for her.  Her life is a closet to hide in.

We cleaned our homes, and cleaned out our homes. We took up solitary hobbies.  We did things we never even imagined that we would do and then we talked about it on the phone and emailed about it.  Or didn’t.

CHANGE IS IN THE AIR NOW

People are moving, getting new jobs, getting trained, starting new businesses.  Whatever this shift brings, I see people going forward somehow.  .

Question marks punctuate everything. Question marks are the centerpiece of this new energy.  We’re riding into our futures on them.

What are some guidelines we can use in these new times?

GRIEVE THE TIME WE LIVED THROUGH THE PANDEMIC.

Honor your losses.   Remember friends and relatives lost to this disease.  Did you struggle with children trying to learn school lessons at home? Is your job gone forever?  Did you work endless hours?  Is your housing situation changed?  How are you changed?

Honor these experiences and set them free.

OPEN THE CLOSET DOORS.

Send whatever fears you have away.  Quit hiding from life, hiding from love.

You may be hiding old, worn-out fears and experiences in this closet.  If you look in the corners, you may find baggage stuffed with fears and events you experienced in past lives even.

Whatever you’re hiding, send it on its way.  You need space for the new you.  Spend some time meditating about the new you –   how you look and act and feel.

GIVE YOURSELF PERMISSION TO LET YOURSELF BE YOU.

Right now the world needs you to just be you.  When you are yourself, you can soar like a  beautiful bird.  As you soar, you release your limitations.

With your limitations gone, you’ll shine in new ways you may not have thought possible before.  Let the world see the real you – the new you that was there all along,

Without limitations, how will your new life look?

For some of us, creating the new life is the most difficult part of moving into your new future.  These old limitations were comfortable. Make it easier to create your new life.  Creating your new identity can be a real challenge.

It can also be the best thing you can do.

BEGIN BY LETTING GO.

Let go of living with what other people expect of you.  When you live your life according to what everybody else wants, you will find yourself following the crowd, and obeying the rules.

When you give up living your life for other people, you’ll find that you are discovering things you want to do to live your own life for yourself.

Hurrah!

You may even see the big picture now.

FINALLY!

You are good enough.  You are smart enough.  Know your worth.

Be kind.

Your Crown Chakra

When you connect with your spiritual center – your Divinity – you activate your crown chakra.  Likewise, when you feel a connection to the Divine, your crown chakra is open.

That’s what it’s all about.

I believe we are spiritual beings having a physical experience.  As such, I feel we spend time and energy throughout our lives longing for a return to the Divine.

This is where we remember who we are.

The crown chakra is linked to your endocrine system, an important thing to know

because a balanced endocrine system supports your chakra system.

When you are connected with your crown chakra, you should experience an ease

and flow in your daily life.

Are you trying to deepen your connection to the divine through your crown chakra?

A good thing to do is to construct an altar.

Begin with a vessel of clear water to represent mercy and healing energy.

You may want to select a goddess to teach you.  When I first began my search,

Kwan Yin introduced herself to me.  Kwan Yin has served me well.  I love her

story.  I love her energy.

You may want to select herbs for your altar.  You may already have an

attachment to some specific herbs.  If not, try to find some herbs that will support

your capacity to grow, align you to the energies you seek.

When you feel motivated, add 1 or 2 crown chakra gemstones.  Again, you may

already be using amethyst or selenite or some other gemstone.  It’s nice to

already have items for your altar which you know and understand.  I found

Herkimer diamonds before I really understood their connection to any chakra.

As time passes, you’ll find essential oils, crystals, and yoga postures to help you

connect with your crown chakra.  They wait for you along your path.

Crown chakra meditations are important.  I’ll post one on my next blog post.

Meditation calms the chatter and allows your mind to stay focused.

For me, regular Reiki therapy, reflexology, or other healing sessions can be part

of your spiritual practice.  Different people are drawn to different healing

techniques.  The choice is large.  On your journey you may include yoga,

massage, dietary changes.

You may select a modality and then, after time, change to another one.  Time and

journey indicate different modalities.

Each chakra offers a different focus on our spiritual journey.  All of them work

together to enhance health, happiness, and harmony.

Your Third Eye Chakra

Your third eye chakra has a lot to do with trust.  The first thing you do with your third eye chakra is trust what you see.  This means you develop trust in what is going on around you and what you focus on.

I don’t think what I just wrote is that clear to everyone but,   a developed third eye chakra uses your grounded, logical thinking along with your intuitive experience.

This combination is necessary because if you rely exclusively on your logical thinking and reject your intuition, you won’t get the full picture.

A lot of your successful decision-making in life depends on knowing and understanding a wholistic set of facts and events leading up to the decisions you make.

This wholistic approach develops your mental clarity.

Wholistic decision-making works with your third eye chakra because your pituitary gland is located between your eyebrows in your sphenoid bone.

Much of your successful third eye functioning depends on practice – practice and trust.

I did two things to develop and trust my third eye chakra when I learned Reiki therapy from Mary Ruth Van Landingham in Vienna, Virginia.

Second, I developed and trusted my third eye chakra when I studied tarot card reading with a professional tarot card reader while I lived in Virginia.

I didn’t realize what was happening at the time but after several years, I couldn’t deny reality any longer.

All those mornings studying with Shoshana and all those Reiki classes with Mary Ruth Van Landingham changed my life.

Reiki therapy was instrumental in developing my trust and decision-making in life.  Reiki taught me what I know about  healing and the healing process.

Reiki taught me to see the world in a full spectrum way which included absorbing wisdom and information around me. I learned to connect to my inner energy to see things from different perspectives.

Tarot taught me about the importance of questions and the importance of the process.

Developing your third eye chakra can facilitate your inner knowing and your higher self.

When you work on your third eye chakra, meditation, and yoga can help.

And, finally, don’t overlook your need for clean, pure water.

Many Reiki books are available.  When I first studied Reiki therapy, I found fewer than half a dozen.  Now, it seems there are thousands of Reiki books available..

I recommend two Tarot Card writers:  Rachel Pollack and Avigayil Landsman.

Rachel Pollack’s books are fascinating.  It’s hard to put one down when you begin reading it.  That says a lot.  Her books are filled with pages and pages of information.

A good first choice for Rachel Pollack’s books is “Tarot Wisdom.”

I  also recommend Avigayil Landsman’s book, “Letters from Heaven.”

A Throat Chakra Meditation – Know your Truth

Get comfortable and relax into peace and calm.

Take a few slow deep breaths.

Inhale slowly through your nose.

Exhale through your mouth.

As you breathe deeply, close your eyes.  Encourage your whole body to settle down into the calm.

As you let go, feel lighter with each breath.

As you continue your breathing, you see an iridescent, pale blue light surrounding you.  This light is encasing and protecting you.

You look around and see you are floating in the air while this light protects you.  You drift higher and higher.  You float  through  large puffy clouds.

You float even higher.

Soon you see the earth below as you float higher and higher in your own inner space.  You continue your journey surrounded by a cocoon of bluish white light.

You feel comfortable in this cocoon.

As you float higher, you feel this bluish white light filling you with love and light and harmony and peace.

As you look around you, you notice a group of shadowy faces which are familiar.  As you look  more closely at these faces, you see glimmers of a person you love who has passed over.  Then, you notice a face you know who is a guide for you.  Everyone is smiling to see you.

You know in your heart that these beings have a message for you.  You listen quietly and absorb healing wisdom and feelings.

You are blissful in a holy space of truth and wisdom.  You feel blessed.

You accept the gifts of love and light and truth which you receive in this iridescent light space surrounding you.

You pause for a moment to receive a message of truth and wisdom now.

You take a moment to thank these beings for the truth and wisdom they share with you.

You feel a sense of gratitude.  – You feel this gift so strongly that you send your gratitude forward as a healing to the earth.

You envision peace and calm and good health for all beings on earth.

The special blue light surrounding you begins its descent into your space now.  You are grateful for the wisdom you experienced on this journey.

You know it is time for you to return to your room now.  It is time for your special iridescent blue bubble to merge with the air of your place.

You know you can return to your special  light of wisdom and truth whenever you want.

You send feelings of gratitude for this experience.

Your Throat Chakra – What is your deepest truth?

Back in December, I did some research and wrote a story about Archangel Gabriel and the birth of Jesus.

The first thing I learned was that Archangel Gabriel is a patron of communicators.  This includes radio, TV, computer communications, telephone, and even postal workers.

I learned from my research into the birth of Jesus that Archangel Gabriel actively participated in this event.  My research revealed clearly that Gabriel used varied communication techniques with each person he encountered as he managed the fulfillment of this prophecy.

When Gabriel visited Elizabeth and Mary, for example, he spoke to each of them in a way which they could understand.  Gabriel met each person where they were in life.

Gabriel then, in a few sentences, changed their lives.

Your throat chakra is where your truth manifests itself.

This is where you connect to wisdom.

Your ideas come from your first chakra.

When your ideas travel to your second chakra, you examine them from a practical standpoint – money for example.

At the third chakra, you examine your emotional attachment to your idea:  You consider whether or not this idea will win or lose.

At your fourth chakra, you ask yourself if your heart is involved.

At the fifth chakra, your idea is developed to the point where sentences, paragraphs, whole messages organize themselves to become your truth.

Your truth sits at the center of your throat.  It’s corresponding gland is the thyroid gland.  I think it’s significant that the thyroid glands are all about energy.  It takes a balanced throat chakra and a thyroid to deal with one’s truth.

Authenticity takes a lot of energy.  Your throat chakra works to deliver your message in truth and integrity.

Because your throat chakra deals in truth, corresponding health issues are bound to surface.  They include diseases of the throat, larynx, tonsils, and ears.

Your throat chakra’s effectiveness can be diminished by life events.

Injury, physical and emotional abuse, will harm your throat chakra.

Grief, anger, and fear will shut it down.

Dishonesty and gossip will compromise your throat chakra’s effectiveness.

When we don’t honor our truth, our integrity goes into default.

The throat chakra is focused on your message and its truth.

A life goal is to learn to mean what you say.

Your daily life can authenticate your communication.  This can become difficult if you are in a job or other life situation where your truth is not valued.  So much of our lives these days seems to challenge the facts.

To make things more complex, we all have childhood memories where we were not allowed to speak or we were not allowed to reveal things we knew.

Protecting your throat chakra boils down to living with your personal integrity.

The truth of our personal integrity is under assault in these times.

Your authenticity depends on you to express your true feelings, wants, and needs.

Your throat chakra also requires that you listen carefully to what is being communicated to you.  When you do this, you are participating in a sacred connection.

When this happens, you are able to stand in your truth.  This communication means that you listen to people when they respond.  You listen to other points of view.

You are able to solve problems, and support others.

This is a wonderful thing!

A Healing Heart Chakra Meditation –

Your heart chakra is the center of your energy universe.

Your heart chakra is a holy place – holding your ability to love – in all the many ways it can be described.

Your heart chakra is a holy place – holding your ability to heal – in all the many ways – heal yourself, others, all the people in all the places in all the times.

Your heart chakra is a holy place – holding your ability to heal – situations, places, the planet, the universe.

If you are working on yourself, your health, your job, your family, your community,  begin with work on your heart chakra.

Align yourself with your heart chakra.

Noticeable changes will permeate your entire being.

Meditation opens and balances your energy fields.  The  heart meditation  written for you below intends to boost, and cleanse:

Begin by finding a comfortable position in a safe, quiet space.  Close your eyes.

Encourage each in-breath to slowly and completely to fill  your body with oxygen, light, and positive energy.

When you exhale, release toxins, frustration, anxiety, and anything else you don’t need.

As you breathe in and out, relax completely with slow, deep breaths..

When you feel relaxed and peaceful, take another deep breath and visualize a light traveling from your feet to the top of your head.  This light fills and surrounds your body with love.

Finally, this light settles at your heart.  It has a healing green tint in honor of your heart chakra.  See the green energy spiraling at your heart chakra.

Breathe into this energy now and experience its transformation.

Inhale and exhale now focusing on your heart chakra.   Take these breaths as you focus on healing yourself, your life, the planet, the universe.

See these breaths balancing, boosting, and cleansing all things need healing.

Take a few extra breaths now to release toxins, frustrations, anxiety,  and anything else that you don’t need.

It is time to return to your room now.  Gently open your eyes.

As you return to your day, take another moment to ground yourself.  Feel the floor under your feet.  What does the air in the room feel like at this moment?

Breathe deeply, tensing and then relaxing your entire body.

Softly tap your thymus in gratitude..

You can recall the relaxation and feelings of love at any time during the day.

Your Heart Chakra – the Core of your Self

Your heart chakra is mystical and magical.

Your heart chakra is over your physical heart.  It regulates energy flow the same way your physical heart regulates blood flow.  Your heart chakra is all about love, healing, and connecting with others.

This is where you heal – yourself, your family and friends, those around you, the planet, the entire universe even.

When you heal from your heart, energy ripples out,  sending healing to everything in its path.

The center of your lymphatic system is also located here.  This allows you to use your heart chakra to clean your energetic body, environment,  earth,  solar system, universe.

Energetically, this is where your body regulates blood flow, lymph, and energy flow.

Think of your heart as an organ pumping blood throughout your body.  It is also an endocrine gland releasing hormones to regulate blood pressure and help keep your cardiovascular system healthy.

Another endocrine gland, the thymus, is located behind your sternum.  Your thymus is an immune gland that helps you connect with others and heal.

Wake up this connection gland and chakra by tapping your thymus gland daily.

You store affection, heartache, healing, compassion, self-love, and empathy in your heart chakra..

Do you want to get to know your heart chakra better?  Practice random acts of kindness.

SPIRITUAL GUIDES

I cannot write about the heart chakra without including goddesses of love.  There are many, as many as there are  ways to describe the many facets of love.

We don’t always refer to them as gods and goddesses.  Sometimes we think of them as saints, angels, or spiritual guides.  Whatever word you prefer, these  special beings help us all. Each one puts a unique face on this complex subject.

I’m focusing on two:  Quan Yin and Mother Mary.

The best way I know to describe these two spiritual beings is to use words that apply to each one, for they are different.

Quan Yin –  Quan Yin is a Buddhist Goddess of mercy.  She is a symbol of motherhood, virtue, and peace and focuses on universal compassion.

People the world over have been following Quan Yin for many, many years.

She is traditionally attracted to places where it is appropriate to cherish a situation.  Quan Yin activates healing power.

She is a symbol of sacred knowledge, wisdom, self-development, purity, enlightenment,  and empowerment.

Followers believe  Quan Yin bestows support, protection, and blessings when you ask.

MOTHER MARY – This mother of Jesus is relentless and constant as a healing force of love.  As modern as tomorrow,  she is a friend, companion, sister,  spiritual mother and teacher.

When appropriate, Mary liberates us and heals us.  She is a steady rock carrying the sorrow of every person on every part of the globe.

Mary is the ultimate New Age Woman, showing us how feminine principles work for all of us.  She carries her message of enlightenment to children and adults alike.

Mary’s way is attracted to subdued situations.  She lifts up and lets things be.  She is gentle or forceful – depending on the situation.  Mary is happy to rejoice and be loved as well as loving others.  She offers trust.  She is joyful.  Mary knows about patience.

WORKING WITH  YOUR HEART CHAKRA

There are different ways to heal your heart chakra.  Use visualizations,  meditations, and change some old habits.  Practice yoga, use crystals and essential oils.  Adjust your diet.  Embrace reflexology and Reiki therapy.

Use what resonates with you.

If you experience physical problems, consult with appropriate professionals.

You have many options.

Go for gods, goddesses,  angels, saints and guides.  There are many, available to you.  I chose Quan Yin and Mother Mary because I am comfortable with them.

A TWO-PART SOLUTION TO YOUR PROBLEMS

If you seek a solution to a problem which seems too challenging, this information may help you.  I’ve used the following method many times and I’m always happy to share it with anyone seeking a good answer to a thorny problem.

Begin with 2 clean sheets of paper and a pen or pencil.  Write the word “yes” at the head of one paper.  On the head of the other paper, write “no”.

Now, carefully define your situation while you explore all the solutions “for” (Yes) and all the solutions “against” (No).

List all the “yeses” and all the “nos” on the appropriate papers as they make themselves available to you.

Take your time with this.  Think your options through.

When this exercise is over, which side of the argument has the most entries?

I feel confident that one side will have more items listed than the other.

Now is the time to connect with a higher power.

Sit down someplace where you feel safe and comfortable.  Breathe deeply and calmly.  Breathe in, allowing healing light to flow inward.  As you breathe out, allow tired and negative thoughts to leave your body.

This breathing is preparing you to get rid of old ideas and invite in fresh, new insights and solutions.

Allow this healing breath to touch every part of your body.  Feel your body embrace the newness of the healing breath and the coming solution.

Invite your goddess, guardian angel, or spiritual guide to join you in this  space. Sit calmly and expectantly.

Take a few moments to focus on your situation and how you want to find an appropriate answer.  Absorb this situation and the coming solution physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

After a few moments, take this time to share your inner thoughts about your situation with the wise being you may find sitting beside you.

Whether or not you see the spiritiual being beside you is a detail.  Your situation is an opportunity to grow.

Let your guest advise you about how to manage your situation.  Accept the advice you receive while you seek a solution.

Embrace the suggestions which can help your situation, your solution, and your self.

See yourself on a journey from a challenging situation to a good outcome and a positive path.  See yourself embracing the new solution and the changes which will bring it about.

You feel it is time to go.  Give thanks for the shared wisdom and generosity you just received. Offer gratitude for the journey you’ve been on.

Make plans for you two to meet again if you need more guidance.

Return to your present time now.  Give yourself time to absorb the wisdom you received.

Shift your awareness to your physical surroundings where you began this experience.  Be here now and in this environment.  You are wide awake and alert.  You feel wonderful and are at peace.

Are you closer to a solution?  Can you accept it?

SAINT THERESE – THE LITTLE FLOWER

Several years ago, I managed a food pantry that fed many people.  It seemed to me that I confronted problems without solutions.

One evening I read a story about Saint Therest, the Little Flower.  I read about people finding roses when they studied the works of St. Therese.

The following morning, when I unlocked the door to the pantry, I found a rose on the floor.

Seeing this rose opened my eyes.

I didn’t expect to see a rose or anything else on the floor.  For sure, I didn’t sleep walk over to the pantry in the night and put a rose on the floor.

I wasn’t asking for favors.  I merely read about her life.
