Can you take time today to honor the end of a cycle?. This is your opportunity to acknowledge your achievements. It’s also time to explore the spiritual meaning of your life.
This is your celebration because today’s feelings can come only from the inside out. You won’t get there waiting for someone else to create your happiness for you.
Because happiness comes from within, this is a good time to know and honor a fact of life: You are the one who brings gratitude and generosity into your life every single day.
How?
Focus on those you love. Share your heart energy today and every single day. This is where you find happiness.
you manifested this moment. This is your own success story.
DO THIS:
Journal a conversation with your inner child. Explore something you might not have understood in the past. Offer love and affection to your inner child now. Explain your feelings. You are complete as you are.
What do you expect to happen in the future?
Now, lay your hands on your journal and send it love and peace in the moment.
MEDITATION:
Go to a safe, secluded and comfortable space. Sit in a comfortable chair.
Allow yourself to relax and feel good about your situation and your self.
take several breaths which begin deep within your abdomen. Breathe in gratitude and positive thoughts. Close your eyes now as you inhale. As you exhale, visualize all negativity and toxins leaving your body and your space.
You are relaxing now. As you breathe, feel this calm coming up through your feet and your legs. Feel this deep relaxation as it enters your entire body. In a short time, feel your inbreaths filling your entire body with light and positive energy. All is positive.
After a few moments of in and out breaths, you feel deeply relaxed.
You open your eyes and see that you are sitting in your chair under a large, inflated helium balloon.
You are so relaxed that you feel weightless.
You realize that you, your chair, and your helium balloon are floating up and up and up.
You are are above the trees now. You look around and see this new vista generated by your place above the trees.

Still rising, you float through a cloud. Looking down, you see the earth as a ball of light. You enjoy the love and acceptance coming to you from the earth.
After a few moments, you know that it is time for you to return to your quiet space and your celebration of your self. You begin to float down, down, down.
You return to this space where you began your journey feeling happy and relaxed.
You take a deep breath. You know you can return to this journey any time you want.

September is a time to honor your health – your wellbeing.
Have fun with this! Celebrate the season!
LOCAL FARMERS’ MARKETS offer a bounty of fresh and local fruits, vegetables, and artisanal products.
September’s markets bring my favorite foods.
Tomatoes, potatoes, squash, apples, melons, figs, and beets are in season this time of year adding color to your plate and your soul.
Stick with these new fresh produce options throughout your Autumn and into Winter. Two fruits which I make a point to buy and eat in September include pears and pumpkins. I love both these foods and they taste best during September.
Find a farmers’ market and plan your meals around the seasonal produce you discover. A bonus on this food is that you’ll boost your antioxidents when you eat fresh seasonal produce.
Cook up a soup or stew.
I think of my breakfast as a September food. Every morning I have a serving of muesli topped with yogurt and blueberries or other seasonal fruit.
Visit your LOCAL HEALTH FOOD STORE for what you can’t find at the farmers’ market.
While you’re there, stock up on immune-boosting supplements. Go for a multi-vitamin, calcium, D3, a protein, and probiotics.
Commit to staying hydrated with lots of water.
It’s sweater time! Is your wardrobe ready for that extra layer you’re going to need? Consider LOCAL THRIFT SHOPS AND YARD SALES. Make eco-friendly options a priority.
Is someone in your house returning to school? Check the backpacks and lunch boxes. Are they in good condition?
SLEEP BETTER in this cooler weather. When September rolls around, I enjoy renewing tranquility with soothing colors in my bedroom.
I look around the room and remove any and all electronic gadgets that have somehow sneaked in during the year.
September is the time of the year when I ban TVs, computers, phones, and anything else with an electromagnetic field which can produce irritating attitudes and challenge my sleep.
My goal is to refresh my bedroom so that it’s a retreat where I escape from the noise of everyday life. This sanctuary reminds me that meditation, rest, and contemplation are important for a renewed state of mind.

Nourish your mind and rejuvenate yourself for the coming winter months.
Go a step further and schedule a regular reflexology or reiki session. Better yet, get one of each!

ENRICH YOUR LIFE a bit. September is a good time to learn to play a musical instrument, visit a museum, investigate your family history, take a walk, or just daydream.

heart with wings
Better sleep includes getting enough sleep at night and waking gently in the morning. That’s what alarm clocks and cell phone alarms are for. Use them to remind you to begin to calm down in the evening and to gently wake you in the morning.
Sleep Encouraging Techniques for you
As you journey down the path toward a better night’s sleep, don’t think of your bedroom as just a bedroom. Think of it as your sleep sanctuary.
Some people report they get to sleep easier if they use a diffuser with a lavender essential oil. You may want to try this. Lavender is one of the most popular and calming essential oils out there but not everyone likes it.
If you like lavender, you can use it knowing that studies find lavender essential oil improves your mood, decreases the heart rate, lowers the skin temperature and blood pressure a bit.
A bonus here is that lavender is not one of the most expensive essential oils. So, this may be an economical solution for you.
Do you have any plants in your bedroom? If not, you may want to add one or two. They purify the air as they reduce mold, filter toxins, release oxygen at night. And, plants are fun to look at.
Lower Lighting is Important for a Good Night’s Rest.
As you prepare for sleep each night, lower the lights in your sleep sanctuary. Bright lights just before getting into bed can trick you into wakefulness. You need light as you get ready for bed, but you just don’t need so much.
When You are Ready to go to Sleep, Turn out the Lights.
Then, when you get into your bed, set your intention. My intention is always for a deep, healing, relaxing sleep so that I will wake up refreshed in the morning when it is time to get up.
Follow your intention with a short breathing exercise .
Begin this sleep breathing by getting comfortable in your bed. Take a deep breath and hold it for an extra moment. When you release this breath, focus on releasing all tension and worries. Blow them far away. With the next breath, let go of any discomfort your body is holding. With every exhale, focus on the word “relax”.
Breathe in peace…breathe out relax.
Hold your breath for a moment and then repeat: Breathe in peace…breathe out relax.
Now, breathe in peace…breathe out relax.
Finally, enjoy your final peace breath and then breathe out relax.
