A Leader in Training
What Do You See?
The Page’s tunic is dark red – a regal color symbolizing ambition
Red boots symbolize energy.
Yellow sleeves are a symbol of the intellect
The blue mountains stand for truth and spirituality.
Getting to Know the Page of Swords
The Page of Swords is talkative – asking many questions – mostly beginning with “Why?” Good reading and writing skills go with the questions. The Page seeks continually guidance. As the Page does this, they seem to be older than the child they are. Two things: The Page of Swords, as young as they are, likes truth and revenge.
It’s obvious that this Page is a Leader-in-Training. The tongue is sharp, the mind is quick, and the attitude is no-nonsense.
The Page of Swords seeks answers: “Where am I going?” as they explore reality. This attitude brings learning surprises, especially when it seems every person learns a lesson.
Never underestimate The Page of Swords. Two things stand out here: Honesty, and the ability to choose sides. These qualities can lead to scuffles.
Story
A Page of Swords isn’t always a boy. One of my favorites is a girl. She’s both curious and intelligent so she’s always seeking to study and think – study and think – study and think. Darwin is seeking answers.
Darwin is at the university again this semester. And, she’s signed up for the most challenging physics, mathematics class, and something else I can’t spell.
Darwin always loves animals and communicates with them. I tell people that Darwin was born knowing animal communication. Truthfully, she was born with many talents. Darwin is simply choosing the sciences at the university and the animals at the shelter.
Darwin is so adorable that I’m sure she’s going to be successful at a career when she decides to choose one. In the meantime – it’s question, think, and learn.
Darwin’s cause is the environment. Clear-thinking and dedicated to this cause, she knows how to take useful information and work hard to make it pay off. Darwin’s brain works hard for the cause all the while being charming, clever, and a good conversationalist.
Personally, I think we need more Darwin Page of Swords in the world today. They they mature, wonderful things can happen.
Life Changing Rituals
Keep plants in the house. Open the windows when you can.
Skip the fruit juice but eat the fruit.
The next time you find yourself worrying, remind yourself this: “think positive” has many wonderful benefits. So, just find the silver lining!
Meditation
Go to a safe and private space.
Turn the lights down to a comfortable light in the area. Light a candle if you want. Put on some healing music. Make sure the space is comfortable for you – neither too hot nor too cold.
Get comfortable. Either sit or lie down in a comfortable position.
Focus on your breathing now. Notice the rhythm. Notice how, with each outbreath, your breath becomes calmer and more regular. With each inbreath, you relax more fully.
Pay attention to your inbreathing now. Follow your inbreath as you follow the air when it calmly enters your body through your nostrils. Feel the air as it moves along the back of your throat and down into your lungs.
Notice how it gets warmer as the breath you take into your nostrils enters your lungs.
The air comes into your nostrils cool and leaves your nostrils warm.
Feel completely calm and relaxed.
Now feel your body – every cell, every organ is now doing what it should be doing in harmony.
Let yourself feel capable, effective, and responsible now.
Feel stronger now as you work more easily and overcome challenges easily.
Feel stronger and more effective now.
This strength allows you to feel calmer and more relaxed. You see that your life is easier. You are more effective in your life now.
Now you are able to remain calm. You know you can take this relaxation with you throughout your day.
You know that you can return to this space whenever you want as you return to your day.
