Reflexology For The Spirit

spirituality of one's health

Truth Matters.

Does someone you know seem to be inauthentic?  Maybe that’s not the right word.  Perhaps you feel something is just a little “off”.

First, ask yourself this:  Are you being honest with yourself?  Because, truth is,  dishonesty happens all the time.

When I find myself asking, “What’s happening here?” it’s time to look at myself in the mirror.  I’m thinking about actions, words, and whatever is going on.

After all, sneaky underhanded behavior, lying, and cheating are universal among humans.

When you suspect that something is a little “off”, it’s time to be honest and face the truth.  OR  watch your back.

Either way, you are  being blamed for their actions or your mistake.

Are you making things better or worse for yourself?  Are you being honest about it all?

Be alert and trust your instincts.  You don’t want to be the victim of someone else’s deceit.  Align yourself with your highest morality.

The truth matters.

DO THIS:

Discuss the issue with yourself.  Be honest and face the truth to make sense of the situation.  Whatever you need to discuss, say it to yourself.

MEDITATION:

Sit down and get comfortable.  Take a few minutes to close your eyes while you let your attention focus on your breath.  Breathe in and out… in and out.  Let each breath relax you more.

Opening your eyes, you find yourself in a forested park, walking along on a smooth path.  You come upon a group of trees.  This area is secluded, protective, and rich with birds, butterflies, and the perfect temperature.  You enjoy seeing the birds flying among the trees.  You see the blue sky and the clouds through the branches.

Beneath one of the trees you see an inviting bench.  You know this bench is waiting for you to sit, enjoy the scene, and become more calm and relaxed.

After sitting on the bench for a moment, a being walks up and sits down beside you.  This wise and gentle person is here to help you by answering a question.

To help you focus on your question, this being hands you a small gift to hold while you focus in.

Meanwhile, as you meditate on your question, you hold the small stone.

You give thanks to the wise one.  You know that the answer you seek is coming to you soon.

It is time for you to leave now.  You set the stone down on the bench, send gratitude to the universe, and leave the area.  You are walking away on the path.

You know that the answer you seek will come to you soon.  Maybe today or maybe this evening.  It will come to you.

You also know that you can return to this place any time you need.  The trees, the bench, the stone, and the path are here waiting for you.

The wise person will share the wisdom you need whenever you ask.

Take some time now to focus on your breathing once again.  You are aware of air as you breathe in and breathe out.  You become aware of your surroundings.  You feel the chair beneath you.  You hear the sounds of the room.  You open your eyes and return to your normal waking state, feeling refreshed, relaxed, and comfortable.

Slow Down and Heal

When was the last time you allowed yourself to truly, completely rest and recuperate?

You need a deep healing rest.

For now, it is time for reclusion or retreat.  Find a quiet space and seek solitude.

A question arises:  What needs to heal?  How much time will it take?

This isn’t just an ordinary rest.  This rest involves your body, your mind, and your spirit.

Slow down.  Take time to transform and transmute your experiences as you renew.  And, as you renew your body, mind, and spirit, encourage those around you to participate in this renewal.

Is this a time for faith?  Deep healing and new beginnings rely on faith for unexpected outcomes.

This is a time for deep rest.

Remember, rest is a birthright.

DO THIS

Do you practice Reiki?  Do you receive Reiki?  Do you meditate?  Or…Do you have a mindfulness practice?

If not, try something easy and accessible.  Choosing Reiki or meditation is a way of choosing yourself.

MEDITATE

Sit down and relax.  light a candle.  Burn incense.  Listen to calming music.  If you have one, hold a crystal or rock.

You need  a private and safe space to focus your breathing.  After each complete inbreath and out breath, let there be a moment to let yourself just be.  Breathe deeply from your abdomen to let quiet and peace seep in.

This is a time to completely slow down and relax.

You notice that you are holding a small amethyst crystal in one hand.  It begins to grow warmer in your hand.  The power of this crystal radiates out into your hands, up through your arms, into your shoulders, and, finally, into each body part.

As it radiates its healing warmth, you feel comfortable and safe.  After a few moments you feel the full power of the violet flame in this crystal.  You feel this flame purifying, forgiving, healing, and transmuting every cell of your physical, mental, emotional, and energetic body.

You visualize it traveling through your emotions, your thoughts, and your memories.  You notice it cleansing any recurring patterns of negativity in your complete body.

As this happens, you release negativity into the flame of the candle.  You see it transformed into light.  The negativity is being consumed.

You are lighter now.  You feel this moment holds your world in divine order.

You accept this perfection in deep gratitude.

You rest in this healing moment.  You feel safe.  You say to yourself:  “I love and accept myself just the way I am.  I belong in this peace.”

You realize it’s time to return to the outside world.  You know that you can return to this space any time you want.

You thank your crystal for its healing energy.  You slowly shake your arms and legs now.

You gently return to the world – healed.  You can share your peace and calm with others now.

Sorrow: Is There a Storm in Your Heart?

When someone inflicts pain, it changes you deeply.  It creates a cellular memory.

At times, your body responds to this memory as if the event were happening now.

Knowing sorrow is to experience it.  The more experience you have with it, the more you know it – inside and out.  Some of this is internal.

When you know it, you are getting to the heart of the matter.

What to do?

Now is a time to grow.  Evolution does not come skating in.

No sirree.  It rides in on despair and loneliness.

It’s time to go in another direction so you can be stronger – more resilient.  You are transformed.

You will evolve!

How?

Dance – Scream – Roll around on the floor – Write – Beat Drums – Journal – Draw pictures –  Run – Change jobs – Move away – Apologize

DO THIS:

Move on

MEDITATION:

This meditation focuses on making your coping easier and more effective if you are under severe stress.

Find a comfortable and safe place to sit.  Select a place where you will not be disturbed.  When you are in this safety zone, settle into the quiet where you can feel positive and relaxed.  This is your sanctuary.

Turn on some healing music.  Light a candle.  Fire up some incense.  Do whatever makes you feel calmer.  You may enjoy lighting a Himalayan salt lamp.

Now get comfortable.  You may prefer a chair or a mat on the floor; whatever works best for you.

Breathe slowly, calmly and deeply.   Breathe deeply – into your heart.  Breathe into those places needing healing.  Breathe healing and positive energies into your deepest self.

As you exhale, release negativity, stress, fear, and anything that needs to go.

Develop a pattern:  breathe out to release negativity and pain.

Breathe in deeply as you receive the wisdom of your heart and your light.  Breathe the wisdom of your being.

Let this breath pattern lead you to an inner sanctuary.

Open your eyes to find yourself in a tranquil place where you feel secure and strong. Your surroundings make you feel comfortable.  Notice the details of this space.

Notice what this space is like.  What does it look like?  What is the temperature in this space?

Notice everything.  Include the smells, noises, colors, textures, and shapes of this space. Examine everything about this space.

Possibly this space is from your past.  Possibly it is one you are creating for your own special healing needs.

Whatever this space, you are in control of this sanctuary.  Take time now to create this place just for you and your healing needs.

Notice the areas and  objects that represent safety, security, and peace.  This space is your refuge.  Explore it now. Immerse yourself in this sanctuary, feeling its protection and beauty.

Feel the protection this space offers you.

It is time for you to return to your day now.  As your breathing brings you to now, carry the safety and calm of your sanctuary with you.

Know that you can return to this space whenever you choose.

Tune into your breathing now.

Peace be with you.
