Moving Forward? Journey On!

When the time comes to walk away from something that no longer serves its purpose, you may feel a bit reluctant.

On the other hand, maybe you’re running for the door.

Either way, begin the next leg of the journey by setting boundaries.  Rites of passage are always easier when you mentally prepare for the future.

When you set boundaries, you focus on things you want to leave behind.   This is a way to streamline your transition.

Sometimes, when the moment to move on arrives, you know in your heart you’re not ready.  Journey beginnings are easier when you are open-minded.  Accepting help from others and leaving old baggage at the curb will make your passage much, much easier.

A move means you’re changing yourself totally:  your mind,  body, emotions,  spirit.  But it doesn’t stop with you.  Your family, friends, and everyone you interact with will experience the fallout.

Truth seeking can be contagious.  And, when your journey begins to change you…some close to you will join in your venture.  Some will go in a different direction.  Yet others will remain the same, unaffected by the changes moving you, your beliefs, and your activities forward.

Wish them all well and don’t forget to forgive yourself.

DO THIS

Whether your journey is physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, or a combination…now is a really good time to journal or chronicle its unfolding.  Write for yourself.  Express from your soul what is going on with you.  Write what flashes into your consciousness.

MEDITATION

Make yourself comfortable – in a chair or on the floor.  You want quiet and safety.

Breathe from deep within your abdomen.  Breathe in calm.  Breathe out negativity. Focus on this deep breathing for a few minutes as you breathe deeply in and out.

After a short time open your eyes and look around.  You are in a room carrying baggage.  You are carrying bags in your hands.  You carry a large backpack on your shoulders and upper back.  They are all full and heavy.

The room gives way to a relaxing beach.  You are at the water’s edge.  You set down your bags and your  backpack.  And you lie flat on the beach.

You look at the sky and see a gentle sunrise as the sun comes up on a new day.

As you pause to enjoy this morning, you gently move your legs and arms.  You move your wrists.  Your spine feels stiff.  Your body is sore from carrying all this baggage.

You gently move the muscles and joints throughout your body.  You take in much needed oxygen for your body.  On an exhale, you send gentle relaxation throughout your body.  The stiffness and soreness disappear.

You close your eyes and relax .  After a few moments, you are ready to return to the room and the activities waiting for you.

You treat yourself to a glass of refreshing water.

When Winning is All that Counts

Whether it’s ongoing stress, domestic disputes, never-ending challenges, workplace conflicts with managers, or “the system”, it all comes down to this:

What do you gain from the aftermath of the battle?

It’s important to walk away with your self-respect.  You can do this if you can exit at the right time.

When all is said and done and the battle degenerates to the point where you want nothing more than to win, you will probably feel broken and humiliated.

After the battle, the words to use are:

Unfair advantage, spitefulness, deception, and resentment.

DO THIS:

Practice energetic protection often, daily, and whenever you feel vulnerable.  Allow this protective energy to surround and care for you through support and boundaries.

An easy but effective protective method is to cut the Cords.  Spiritually cut the cords surrounding you from conversations, activities, relationships, past lives, etc.

To cut the Cords, close your eyes to visualize where these cords may be located around you.  With the outer edge of your hand, reach out and slice the cords so that they fall away.

MEDITATION:

Settle yourself in a quiet, safe place.  As you breathe in deeply, a glowing light surrounds your body.

Your inbreaths bring healing, protection, and peace.  Your outbreaths release toxins and negativity that are sstuck in your body.  This inbreathing and outbreathing brings peace, protection, and soothing properties.  As the breath goes, so goes the tension.  The inbreaths bring deeper peace and protection.

If you are aware of any place in your body that feels uncomfortable, give it permission to relax.  Your breathing soothes stiffness and stress.

Take a couple of special breaths where you send the healing air to those body parts that are still stressed.  Remind your body that this is the time to be at peace, at ease, and to heal.

You see a heaing pink light coming toward you.  As it floats into your space, it moves and surrounds you.  You feel a wave of this healing light relaxing you.  You notice your muscles letting go as they become loose and relax.  Your mind clears.

You are in a protective space which cancels negativity.

You know that you can return to this space whenever you want.  This protection is available for you anytime you call it in.

You feel refreshed now.  Your muscles and nerves are relaxed now.  Your eyes are refreshed.  You know you are protected, healed, and loved.

This space is available to you any time you want to return to it.
