Life is Easier Without the Baggage. This is What Coming Home is Like.
When the baggage goes, you see what is left. This leads you to a better place emotionally.
For some, this is what coming home is like.
Recovery and renewal are part of the story when you experience loss. When the old cycle ends, the new cycle begins.
Self-acceptance is the key.
Mourning and grief morph into respect and acknowledgement. Looking back, you realize not all was lost. Learning this lesson is important to avoid repetition.
Wounds become temporary as they heal. Forgiveness is part of the story. With forgiveness, stagnation, self-pity, and loss cannot drain away your focus.
See yourself in a brighter future. Reclaim your happiness, embrace hope, and eliminate grief.
Release your negative thoughts, events, and relationships. This can be challenging when you carry your baggage through life with you.
Because it’s hard to leave the baggage behind, you’re tempted to take it with you.
Life is easier without the negativity of the baggage.
When you offload the baggage, you can make peace with what is there.
Now, you can move on to a better place.
A MEDITATION:
Begin this meditation as you sit in a comfortable position. You may prefer to recline. The important thing is to be comfortable and feel safe.
The goal is to be in a position where you are open to receive.
Close your eyes.
Take a deep breath – in through your nose and out through the mouth. Repeat this breath pattern several times. Each inbreath brings healing, and relaxation. Each exhale removes toxins and negativity.
Continue breathing slowly and deeply. Each breath brings relaxation to your entire body. Each exhale continues to remove toxins and negativity.
When you feel relaxed and comfortable, look around.
You are in a small canoe on a pond. The water on the pond is still and peaceful. Your canoe is in the center of the pond.
You sink into the deep and welcoming cushions in the canoe. You enjoy the comfort. You feel the peace and the stillness of the canoe and the pond.
A small current moves your canoe toward a gentle stream. As the canoe moves with the breeze, you notice the temperature of the air around you. You see the trees, shrubbery, flowers, and grass along the edge of the pond.
You notice the lazy clouds moving overhead. You see beautiful birds in the air overhead.
You become aware of the gratitude you feel just being in this space. You appreciate the energy and the peace. You don’t have to do anything. Just enjoy.
After a short time, the breeze carries you and your canoe toward the shore. You are on the beach. Being on the beach makes you feel strong and healthy. You feel you are a part of the earth.
As you stand beside the canoe, you experience healing energy. You absorb the quiet of the moment. Taking peaceful energy into your very center, you know you will remember it.
It is now time to return to your body and your conscious thought. As you slowly move your body, you open your eyes.
Returning to full awareness, you remember all the beauty and peace you experienced on your meditation.
You know that you can return to this space whenever you desire.
Renewed and rejuvenated, you continue with your day…

This is Big! Life is Hectic, Busy and Full – it’s all Coming Your Way!
A lot is going on now – maybe too much. It’s coming your way!
Security, success, and abundance are waiting for us to seek out. There is enough to spread around and share.
Watch everything shift when you add positive energy and abundance to your life.
Your family and the surrounding community are the foundation for this situation. Your support group and your community represent strength and comfort for us all.
Something I’ve thought about recently is legacy. What do you want for yourself and what are your long term goals?
What improvements can you make?
What can you create in this world?
How can you touch hearts?
Can you build a future with hard work, love, and commitment?
Can you offer a gift to your community?
What can a lasting gift from you be?
Can you create things that others will consider meaningful?
Work is challenging. Paying attention to your body, it facilitates a lot of your life with mostly not too many complaints.
Take a moment now and pay attention to your body. Do you notice any areas needing attention? Is your body speaking to you?
Honor your body now. Thank it for all it has done for you throughout your years together. Thank your body for the support it provides over time.
What can you do to take better care of it?
How about a better diet?
Enough sleep?
Regular Reiki sessions are wonderful gifts you can give to yourself.
Journal an entry thanking your body for all the things it has done for you in the past, is doing for you now, and will do for you in the future.

When Work Counts More than the Paycheck
Our work lasts for a lifetime.
A lifetime of work has three layers. The bottom layer is the act of mastering the job itself.
The next layer is the knowledge that goes along with this job.
The top layer is the spirituality of everything: the work, the job, and the expertise surrounding everything.
Notice that happiness is not even listed in these layers. Happiness is a by-product of work satisfaction – if it’s even in the mix at all. When spirituality and knowledge enter the picture, they overcome all the other shining objects seeking attention.
And, reviewing my career journey, which has spanned some odd 60 years, the jobs offering the most knowledge and spirituality did not include happiness. There were few shortcuts. Spirituality and expertise came from invested time and perseverance.
Workflow tells you how you are doing. When things go well, there is a good flow – maybe.
Perfection is also absent in the lineup. Perfection is an illusion.
It all comes down to spirituality and job knowledge.
This means you work for what you believe in over the long haul. When you stay with your mission, you build focus and momentum.
This is a good time to connect with your future self. Journal a letter to your future self. Share a review of your past and describe a bit of the future you plan for yourself. Don’t forget to give yourself the gratitude you feel for the past and the positive feelings you have for your future self.
Connect with yourself now with eight days of Reiki sessions to bring you greeting and support and love.

Are You Getting Through Your Day on Autopilot?
Are you getting through your day on autopilot?
For me, that’s a scary thought! When I find myself working on autopilot, any change to my pace is a real challenge. After all, I have a tendency to just “Plug Along”.
To get off autopilot, you may have to look elsewhere for the techniques and tactics that produce the abundance you promised yourself.
Sometimes it’s a good thing to just stop and look at where you’re putting your efforts. Ask yourself this: “When I step back and consider everything, is it worth it?”
Or, “Do I just keep plugging along or do I look elsewhere?” A lot depends on how tired you are and how tedious the situation is.
Actually, I’ve faced this situation several times throughout my life. And, I bet you have too. I believe that weighing the pros and cons at my job to be fairly common situations…..
Consider this: Things are happening, even if you can’t see the progress.
When you reach this plateau in your situation – whether it’s your job or a relationship or a fitness workout – it may be time to pause. Lean into your faith and give thanks.
A good activity here is Reiki Therapy and/or reflexology. Whether you book an appointment and receive a session or offer yourself self-Reiki is not important. The important thing is that Reiki and reflexology are appropriate whether you give, share a session, take a class, or teach a class.
Take a break: This can be a meditation, a short time to honor your breath, or going for a walk. Finally, limit multitasking.
Whatever it is, you need a time out to remind yourself of your purpose. Revisit your destination.
A project now is to prioritize and focus and review your energetic input.
What are some areas in your life where you are responsible? Take a time out to write about these responsibilities and the sense of fulfillment you feel. Some categories to journal about may include your health, spiritual growth, physical health, community, sleep, good deeds. Are you proud of these responsibilities?
Your life is headed in a beautiful direction. Express gratitude now for the coming results. Manifest your goals with focus, attention, intention, and awareness.
Leave your frustrations, fuzzy goals, and sapped energy behind.
Focus on your goals that will make your heart sing.

Running on Empty
We all have days like this.
I’m tired from the inside out. My body is tired. And, I’m tired of being tired.
When I get this tired, I feel low – lacking. Hopeless is the word for this moment.
I feel that my world simply left me out in the cold. My world dropped me off somewhere empty, shut the door, and plans to forget me.
There is no one out there for me. Nobody is offering me nourishment.
I am alone in this – alone and empty.
I am depleted.
There is only one way out of this: kindness.
Kindness is color in the black and white landscape.
When I feel this way, I turn to my old standby: Reiki therapy. When I receive a Reiki session, I reconnect to my inner strength. I see the magnificent rainbow color in the bleak black and white landscape.
The door is closed – but it is not locked. My task now is to open the door.

Go Ahead – Make the Call
Long ago, and far away, it was possible for a person to know everything there was to know.
Today, I feel it is difficult to impossible to know even all there is to know about anything – let alone everything.
When you search, learn, and experience new things, tap into and lean on the knowledge and skills of others.
Use the skills, knowledge, and experience of others when you collaborate to grow, prosper, and develop your skills and direction.
Collaboration mixed with teamwork can smooth and balance your life journey.
Whatever you do, wherever you head, a strong support group is essential.
So, how do you do this?
For starters – ASK
That, in itself, can be a stretch. Nobody likes to admit needing things and not knowing things. But when you seek knowledge, you start from a foundation of not knowing.
So, what are you to do?
Well, journal entries can help.
Explore how it feels to know know what you need. Discuss the meaning of imperfect, wrong, and dependent.
How can you accelerate this growth to get to the other side easier? There is something you can do: Outsource
Action helps. Reach out.
Reach out to someone for help. This boils down to another vocabulary: ask, call, hire, order.
It also means that you can get more comfortable with being worthy. Go ahead. You can do it!
You’re worth it!
Ask questions. They can apply in your professional life, your social life, and in your romantic relationships.
How often can you benefit from knowing something new?
How hard is it to admit that you don’t know something?
How is your situation hindering your progress on your journey?
As you juggle all the tasks and requirements that you face at a given moment, If you reach out to someone for something you need, can you improve your situation?
Of course you can. Go ahead. Make the call!
Ask someone to help you plan your garden.
Ask around – who knows about a good job opening?
Call a friend for a recipe.
Hire someone to help paint a room.
Get your groceries delivered when things get crowded in your life.

Sometimes, when contemplating the stretches that questions create in addition to the answers, it helps to schedule a Reiki or reflexology session.
Other times, take time out to consider the resources, allies, and experts you’ll be learning from next!
