Take a moment now to review your life. Bring up memories;
Do you ever feel emotionally fulfilled? Do you have that joyful moment when you feel pride and remember moments in your review of A life well-lived?
Call up abundance and happiness. True joy is part of this picture. When did you share yourself and your gifts with others?
As you review your life, review events, relationships, jobs, family, love, and generosity, where you can see things that create your tapestry up to now.
In this review, include the lows and the highs to discover your life’s meaning. Include emotional fulfillment and contentment memories which created a joyful moment.
Contentment.

DO THIS:
Make a gratitude list.
Enjoy this self-care project. You may want to journal it – or design an art project. Whatever and however: Go all out!
MEDITATION
Choose a quiet, safe location for this meditation.
Allow your whole body to relax. Take advantage of this opportunity as you breathe comfortable in through your nose, and then, out through your mouth. Repeat this several times.
Each inbreath brings positivity, health and gratitude. Each outbreath removes toxins and negativity.
Now, send your attention to each of your feet. Feel each bone, muscle, and joint in your feet as they relax. Allow your feet to enjoy the luxury of feeling positive and comfortable.
Release stress, pain, and anything uncomfortable.
Journey to a place where you feel safe, at home, and at peace.
Notice the sounds, smells, charm and beauty here. Encourage this place to nourish your senses. This moment supports and brings you peace.
Reflect on your life now. Bring to the front of your memory those events and people who touched you in some way. Remind yourself of caring, supporting, nurturing, and teaching.
This is time to express gratitude for all the beauty and goodness you have given and received in your life.
It is time to return to your day now. Take a deep breath and bring yourself into the present time. This is something to remember and feel good about.
Remember, you can return to this meditation any time you desire. It waits for you.

Principle 1
Commit to making your health a priority. This means believing you are a valuable being who deserves brilliant health and well-being.” – Inna Segal
When your health is a priority, it becomes a part of your everyday life. You become conscious of how healthy your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies are on a daily basis. When you realize that something is not right, you work to bring about homeostasis…not just ignore the condition.
When good health is a priority, you listen to the messages your body sends.
And, of course, to do this, you need a “plan, Stan.” The reason for this is simple: with a plan, a goal for your overall health improvement, your chances for success are better than they are without a plan.
When you focus on your overall health, the different pieces begin to fit together. They make more sense. The food you eat goes with the exercise you get goes with the information your body gives to you daily goes with the supplements you take goes with the importance of homeostasis.
Principle 2
“It wasn’t about getting a certain body size. It was about my health.” – Judy Molnar
Healing, a healthier lifestyle, is not about the perfect body. Seeking perfection is a setup for failure. The goal here is a healthy body, mind, emotion, spirit, that works.
If that gorgeous body appears and you end up with your photo on a magazine cover,
so much the better. But that’s not the goal.
Begin moving your body. Movement counteracts feelings of stagnation, depression, overweight.
There are many ways to move: walking, yoga, swimming, dancing, tai chi. Begin with something you are comfortable with. Walking is cheap, easy, and requires only shoes. Yoga is a good choice also. In yoga, you are working with yourself as you develop skills. There is no failure factor in either walking or yoga. Whatever you do, try to practice it regularly.
The Fountain of Youth does exist. A branch of it is probably in your neighbor at a nearby fitness center. Join. Visit it three times a week. Get to know the other people there. Enjoy yourself. This is the playground you fondly remember from elementary school.
Regular movement increases your energy, detoxes your body, sharpens your thinking, and helps you feel better about yourself.
Reflexologists, you will do much good for your self and your client partners if you will share these two principles with them.

All of us have health concerns. What part do genes play in all of our concerns? What diseases run in your family? What diseases run in the families of your client partners.
Experts disagree on many things. However, experts tend to agree that genes play a minor role in determining most people’s lifespans. Longterm health and longevity is in your hands.
Nothing else will matter unless you make a pact with yourself that you will adopt the best health practices that exist today.
What will you eat?
How much will you eat?
Where and how will you live?
Will you smoke?
Will you wear a seat belt?
Will you ride a motorcycle?
Do you exercise?
Do you receive reflexology or other body work regularly?
Receiving bodywork on a regular basis is important. Most bodywork modalities, with the exception of Reiki therapy, have contraindications. Know what they are.
I’m talking to you as a reflexologist now. Bodyworkers, many of us, fail to get the work which we often need more than our client partners need our therapy.
So, your next task is to find yourself a bodyworker. In choosing a therapist, go to 5 sessions. After the 5th session, ask yourself “How do I feel now”? If you have had a positive experience over these 5 sessions, this is probably the right modality and the right bodyworker for you. If not, keep looking.
When you receive body work, honor your therapy. Try to be calm and quiet for several hours after it. No heavy lifting – no racing around. Maybe take a nap.
When you get regular body work, whether it is reflexology or some other modality, you will be a better Reflexology for the Spirit practitioner. Body work is essential for good health and fitness.
Peace and food for all
