Reflexology For The Spirit

spirituality of one's health

Ready for the Next Big Step

When you’re ready for the next big step, your personal, professional, and spiritual selves work together.

As this happens, you can see your rewards start to travel in.  Look for them!  Do this because you need to recognize the progress you’ve made.

Your startup efforts and energy create situations that moves you forward. This can lead to success.  You may also have a sense of adventure.  It’s time to explore the options that are opening up for you.  This is a result of your planning.

Prioritize your goals. This helps you visualize your successful life.

Don’t be mistaken.  There is still much work to do.  And, there’s a lot to learn because your successes need some new skills you may not yet be comfortable with.

Meanwhile, search for new clients, new relationships, and that lucky break.  Your activities and energies bring them.

As you notice what is ahead for you, you can watch what experiences wait  ahead.

Pay attention to your future self.

When you set your goals, you can see your objective.  You navigate your way forward.  Think of anything in your way simply as a surprise or detour.  You are on your way!

Focus on your authentic self.  Following this lead will support your highest good.  Your spiritual, physical, emotional, and mental self can align.

Because you are authentic, you can live and heal your best life.

DO THIS:  Spend some time encouraging your creativity.  You’ve set your goals.  Now, you approach your journey authentically.  Use your creative energy to incorporate your feelings on your way  to support your spiritual and business activities.

Your writing, drawing, storytelling skills keep yourself open to new opportunities that show up.

MEDITATION:

Choose a quiet and safe space.  Sit in a comfortable chair as you focus your attention and awareness on your breathing.

Follow your breath as it enters your body, fills up your lungs, and then leaves your body.

Become aware of your breath as it relaxes your mind and body.  Each inhale and exhale releases stress.  Tension leaves your body.  Continue this comfortable inbreathing and outbreathing for several minutes.

PAUSE

When you are peaceful and relaxed, become aware of the focus and energy you have to set your goals and move forward in your life.

PAUSE

You understand now that you can follow your own path with a clear mind.  You know what is right for you.

Let the tension continue to melt away as this understanding anchors, changing how you see yourself.

PAUSE

You take a moment to experience self-love and the potential to create and achieve your future goals.

PAUSE for a moment to allow a sense of peace, acceptance, and grounding to enter your self.

You return now to your intake and release of your breath.  You feel deeply relaxed on all levels.  Bring your  awareness to the present.

Slowly open your eyes.  Feel the inner calm and understanding you’ve gained in this meditation.

You know that it is time to return to your daily activities.  You also know that you can return to this meditation any time.  You know that you can focus on whatever affirmations will benefit you most.

PAUSE for a minute for integration.

Gently and slowly move your muscles.  Return to your day with inner calm and understanding.

What Lights Your Fire?

Take a peek at your potential.  When you ponder your 5-year plan,  you’re taking the slow train ride into the future.

You can enjoy the ride a little better when you explore your options.

Let yourself respond to whatever sparks your curiosity and attention.

As this happens, notice how you feel about the attraction, the unknown challenge.  Leaving your comfort zone allows you to welcome adventures and opportunities.

DO THIS:

What are some ethics and morals you want to take with you on your journey? What are some strengths you’ll need?  What are your gifts?  How can you advocate for more than yourself?

MEDITATION

Begin this meditation by arranging yourself in a comfortable position.  Close your eyes and focus on your breath as you follow your breath in and out of your nostrils.  With each exhalation, your body becomes more relaxed.

As you open your eyes, you find yourself in a quiet, discreet garden.  You are seated on a comfortable bench in this garden.  The sky today is a beautiful blue with a few puffy clouds drifting overhead.

A wise being is walking up to you.  This is your future self being introducing herself to you as your future.  You have a conversation with your future self, learning from the life experiences and wisdom.  Your future self shows you a picture of the future with the colors, sounds, smells, and tastes.

Your future self reaches out to you and you sit down together.  Your future self holds you.  You feel the wisdom, power, love, and forgiveness of yourself in the present and the future.

After a few moments, your future self returns to the future time and space.

You think for a moment about things you experienced in this meditation.  You become aware of who you are now and in the future.

You realize you can return to this garden and your future self at anytime you want.

You are aware once more of your breath.  You are fully present, refreshed, relaxed and in the here and now.

You gently move your muscles with small movements.

When It’s Over

The ending creates open space for something new.

You’re ready to get ahead of the situation and move forward.  While you process the events, look ahead.  Your overwhelming feelings are ending.  You are stronger now than you were before.

Pick yourself up and dust yourself off.  The past is over.  Let go of negative thinking.

Consider the beginning and ending in a different light as you become more aware of your opportunities.  You’ve seen your illusions for what they are, and now you can cultivate a new level of awareness.

What’s over is over:  relationship, job, home town, school – whatever.

It’s time to go it alone.  You’re taking a turn for the better.

DO THIS:

You are moving forward now.  What’s done is done.  It’s time to forgive yourself.

MEDITATION

Begin this meditation when you choose a quiet, safe place.

Choose some healing music, soft lighting, essential oil.

Get comfortable as you take deep relaxing breaths with your eyes gently closed.

With each breath, bring in healing and relaxation.  When you release your breath, release toxins, stress, and negativity.

As you inhale deeply, you absorb calm and peace.

With each out breath, your body is cleansed of negative emotions, fear, and confusion.  This process purifies and renews.

You enter into a greater sense of awareness and you experience peace.

As you relax, you find yourself stepping onto a beautiful healing balloon.  You seat yourself comfortably in the balloon as it rises.

You look down and see roof tops, tree tops, roads and patches of green and yellow.

You drift up through puffy clouds.

Now, when you look down again, you see the earth.  It appears as an an orb.

From your space, serenity and beauty, harmony and peace are everywhere.

You are moving:   Here it feels like there is no time.  All around you is open and free.

You breathe deeply and enjoy this state for a moment.

It is time to decide how much of this space you can take with you on your daily travels.  You ask:  How much can I take home with me?

It is time to return.  As the balloon descends, you have a sense of well-being.

You look around and find yourself in the room you were in before the balloon ride.  As you gently move your arms and legs and rotate your wrists and ankles, you feel wonderful.  You are at peace, right where you are.

You know you can return to this balloon ride whenever you want.

This was a blissful return.  You are grateful for this experience and you look forward to repeating it in the future.

Are You Having Trouble Sleeping?

You have a long-standing problem that you can no longer ignore.

Is the story finished?

Not Yet.

When will it end?

Until it’s over, you wake up in the middle of the night, haunted.

What is real and what is not?

Are you taking on the world’s troubles? Whether or not this is your case, you are a victim of your thoughts.

If anxiety, depression, trauma, and fear are trying to take control, it’s time to claim your energy.  The challenge is to understand it.  The goal is to make sense of the situation.

One way is to let go of the familiar and the safe.  However life works, there isn’t much comfort here.  You are overwhelmed, with too much to do.

Focus on all the ways you’re safe and cared for.

Can you see your worries diminish and disappear?  Imagine happy endings.

DO THIS

This is a perfect opportunity to book a Reiki or Reflexology session.  Both of these modalities promote homeostasis, something we all need.

MEDITATION

You are preparing for bed and sleep.  Feel the pillow under your head.  Feel the texture of your favorite sheets on your bed.  Your blankets and covers enfold you and make you feel comfortable.  Your mattress is perfect.

The air in your room is perfect. You breathe evenly, smoothly, and deeply.  Each inbreath encourages you to sink deeper into the covers.  You rest more deeply and feel peace surrounding you.

As you relax, you find yourself sitting on a comfortable bench in a secluded park.  You notice the sky and see the clouds.  A deep evening sky approaches the area.

There is no one around.  The evening is coming.  Everyone has left this part of the park.  A quiet breeze blows around you.

You hear the gentle sounds of evening birds in the area.

You sink into your covers, floating into dreams and a deep restful sleep.

As you drift into sleep, you are aware of sounds in the room around you while, at the same time, you accept sleep.

You are aware of the darkness of your room.  You embrace the comfort and safety you experience now.

You release the concerns, cares, and worries of the day.  This restores your peace and calm.

You accept a deep and restful sleep.  This allows you to wake feeling relaxed, refreshed, alert, and prepared to experience a positive day.

Truth Matters.

Does someone you know seem to be inauthentic?  Maybe that’s not the right word.  Perhaps you feel something is just a little “off”.

First, ask yourself this:  Are you being honest with yourself?  Because, truth is,  dishonesty happens all the time.

When I find myself asking, “What’s happening here?” it’s time to look at myself in the mirror.  I’m thinking about actions, words, and whatever is going on.

After all, sneaky underhanded behavior, lying, and cheating are universal among humans.

When you suspect that something is a little “off”, it’s time to be honest and face the truth.  OR  watch your back.

Either way, you are  being blamed for their actions or your mistake.

Are you making things better or worse for yourself?  Are you being honest about it all?

Be alert and trust your instincts.  You don’t want to be the victim of someone else’s deceit.  Align yourself with your highest morality.

The truth matters.

DO THIS:

Discuss the issue with yourself.  Be honest and face the truth to make sense of the situation.  Whatever you need to discuss, say it to yourself.

MEDITATION:

Sit down and get comfortable.  Take a few minutes to close your eyes while you let your attention focus on your breath.  Breathe in and out… in and out.  Let each breath relax you more.

Opening your eyes, you find yourself in a forested park, walking along on a smooth path.  You come upon a group of trees.  This area is secluded, protective, and rich with birds, butterflies, and the perfect temperature.  You enjoy seeing the birds flying among the trees.  You see the blue sky and the clouds through the branches.

Beneath one of the trees you see an inviting bench.  You know this bench is waiting for you to sit, enjoy the scene, and become more calm and relaxed.

After sitting on the bench for a moment, a being walks up and sits down beside you.  This wise and gentle person is here to help you by answering a question.

To help you focus on your question, this being hands you a small gift to hold while you focus in.

Meanwhile, as you meditate on your question, you hold the small stone.

You give thanks to the wise one.  You know that the answer you seek is coming to you soon.

It is time for you to leave now.  You set the stone down on the bench, send gratitude to the universe, and leave the area.  You are walking away on the path.

You know that the answer you seek will come to you soon.  Maybe today or maybe this evening.  It will come to you.

You also know that you can return to this place any time you need.  The trees, the bench, the stone, and the path are here waiting for you.

The wise person will share the wisdom you need whenever you ask.

Take some time now to focus on your breathing once again.  You are aware of air as you breathe in and breathe out.  You become aware of your surroundings.  You feel the chair beneath you.  You hear the sounds of the room.  You open your eyes and return to your normal waking state, feeling refreshed, relaxed, and comfortable.

Moving Forward? Journey On!

When the time comes to walk away from something that no longer serves its purpose, you may feel a bit reluctant.

On the other hand, maybe you’re running for the door.

Either way, begin the next leg of the journey by setting boundaries.  Rites of passage are always easier when you mentally prepare for the future.

When you set boundaries, you focus on things you want to leave behind.   This is a way to streamline your transition.

Sometimes, when the moment to move on arrives, you know in your heart you’re not ready.  Journey beginnings are easier when you are open-minded.  Accepting help from others and leaving old baggage at the curb will make your passage much, much easier.

A move means you’re changing yourself totally:  your mind,  body, emotions,  spirit.  But it doesn’t stop with you.  Your family, friends, and everyone you interact with will experience the fallout.

Truth seeking can be contagious.  And, when your journey begins to change you…some close to you will join in your venture.  Some will go in a different direction.  Yet others will remain the same, unaffected by the changes moving you, your beliefs, and your activities forward.

Wish them all well and don’t forget to forgive yourself.

DO THIS

Whether your journey is physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, or a combination…now is a really good time to journal or chronicle its unfolding.  Write for yourself.  Express from your soul what is going on with you.  Write what flashes into your consciousness.

MEDITATION

Make yourself comfortable – in a chair or on the floor.  You want quiet and safety.

Breathe from deep within your abdomen.  Breathe in calm.  Breathe out negativity. Focus on this deep breathing for a few minutes as you breathe deeply in and out.

After a short time open your eyes and look around.  You are in a room carrying baggage.  You are carrying bags in your hands.  You carry a large backpack on your shoulders and upper back.  They are all full and heavy.

The room gives way to a relaxing beach.  You are at the water’s edge.  You set down your bags and your  backpack.  And you lie flat on the beach.

You look at the sky and see a gentle sunrise as the sun comes up on a new day.

As you pause to enjoy this morning, you gently move your legs and arms.  You move your wrists.  Your spine feels stiff.  Your body is sore from carrying all this baggage.

You gently move the muscles and joints throughout your body.  You take in much needed oxygen for your body.  On an exhale, you send gentle relaxation throughout your body.  The stiffness and soreness disappear.

You close your eyes and relax .  After a few moments, you are ready to return to the room and the activities waiting for you.

You treat yourself to a glass of refreshing water.

When Winning is All that Counts

Whether it’s ongoing stress, domestic disputes, never-ending challenges, workplace conflicts with managers, or “the system”, it all comes down to this:

What do you gain from the aftermath of the battle?

It’s important to walk away with your self-respect.  You can do this if you can exit at the right time.

When all is said and done and the battle degenerates to the point where you want nothing more than to win, you will probably feel broken and humiliated.

After the battle, the words to use are:

Unfair advantage, spitefulness, deception, and resentment.

DO THIS:

Practice energetic protection often, daily, and whenever you feel vulnerable.  Allow this protective energy to surround and care for you through support and boundaries.

An easy but effective protective method is to cut the Cords.  Spiritually cut the cords surrounding you from conversations, activities, relationships, past lives, etc.

To cut the Cords, close your eyes to visualize where these cords may be located around you.  With the outer edge of your hand, reach out and slice the cords so that they fall away.

MEDITATION:

Settle yourself in a quiet, safe place.  As you breathe in deeply, a glowing light surrounds your body.

Your inbreaths bring healing, protection, and peace.  Your outbreaths release toxins and negativity that are sstuck in your body.  This inbreathing and outbreathing brings peace, protection, and soothing properties.  As the breath goes, so goes the tension.  The inbreaths bring deeper peace and protection.

If you are aware of any place in your body that feels uncomfortable, give it permission to relax.  Your breathing soothes stiffness and stress.

Take a couple of special breaths where you send the healing air to those body parts that are still stressed.  Remind your body that this is the time to be at peace, at ease, and to heal.

You see a heaing pink light coming toward you.  As it floats into your space, it moves and surrounds you.  You feel a wave of this healing light relaxing you.  You notice your muscles letting go as they become loose and relax.  Your mind clears.

You are in a protective space which cancels negativity.

You know that you can return to this space whenever you want.  This protection is available for you anytime you call it in.

You feel refreshed now.  Your muscles and nerves are relaxed now.  Your eyes are refreshed.  You know you are protected, healed, and loved.

This space is available to you any time you want to return to it.

Slow Down and Heal

When was the last time you allowed yourself to truly, completely rest and recuperate?

You need a deep healing rest.

For now, it is time for reclusion or retreat.  Find a quiet space and seek solitude.

A question arises:  What needs to heal?  How much time will it take?

This isn’t just an ordinary rest.  This rest involves your body, your mind, and your spirit.

Slow down.  Take time to transform and transmute your experiences as you renew.  And, as you renew your body, mind, and spirit, encourage those around you to participate in this renewal.

Is this a time for faith?  Deep healing and new beginnings rely on faith for unexpected outcomes.

This is a time for deep rest.

Remember, rest is a birthright.

DO THIS

Do you practice Reiki?  Do you receive Reiki?  Do you meditate?  Or…Do you have a mindfulness practice?

If not, try something easy and accessible.  Choosing Reiki or meditation is a way of choosing yourself.

MEDITATE

Sit down and relax.  light a candle.  Burn incense.  Listen to calming music.  If you have one, hold a crystal or rock.

You need  a private and safe space to focus your breathing.  After each complete inbreath and out breath, let there be a moment to let yourself just be.  Breathe deeply from your abdomen to let quiet and peace seep in.

This is a time to completely slow down and relax.

You notice that you are holding a small amethyst crystal in one hand.  It begins to grow warmer in your hand.  The power of this crystal radiates out into your hands, up through your arms, into your shoulders, and, finally, into each body part.

As it radiates its healing warmth, you feel comfortable and safe.  After a few moments you feel the full power of the violet flame in this crystal.  You feel this flame purifying, forgiving, healing, and transmuting every cell of your physical, mental, emotional, and energetic body.

You visualize it traveling through your emotions, your thoughts, and your memories.  You notice it cleansing any recurring patterns of negativity in your complete body.

As this happens, you release negativity into the flame of the candle.  You see it transformed into light.  The negativity is being consumed.

You are lighter now.  You feel this moment holds your world in divine order.

You accept this perfection in deep gratitude.

You rest in this healing moment.  You feel safe.  You say to yourself:  “I love and accept myself just the way I am.  I belong in this peace.”

You realize it’s time to return to the outside world.  You know that you can return to this space any time you want.

You thank your crystal for its healing energy.  You slowly shake your arms and legs now.

You gently return to the world – healed.  You can share your peace and calm with others now.

Are you Searching for a Life-Changing Boost? – Try This!

Every once in a while, you may need a life-changing boost.

You find yourself in a situation where you need access to some extra power to  change your life.  You know you need this because your emotions and reason are conflicted.  They are telling you so.

You may even be at a point where you feel there are two truths in your situation.  There is the truth which works for you and there is the truth which also works for someone else.

When this happens, consider the discrepancies in the truths in your life.  Listen to them.  Meditate on them.  Study the reality.  Maybe both options are bad.

You know you have the skills and resources to make a decision.  Something is holding you down so that you cannot get to the outcome.

Pause for a moment.  You know you have everything you need. What should you do?

Do these three things:

First, set aside your frustrations.  This sounds easy but it can be challenging.

Second, clean your glasses so that you can see the problem for what it actually is.  Consider your wants, needs, and loves.  Write a list of the pros and cons of the situation.

Listen to your internal guidance and close your eyes.  Trust your inner self to know the answer.  It can be that the best advice you’re going to get comes from within..

At this point, you know you have everything you need to reach the conclusion you need. You are seeing the issue for what it actually is.

Finally – do you see an outcome?  NO?

Well, if you do not see the solution and you are, indeed, seeing the problem for what it is …then there is one last and final step.  Trust your judgement.

Get up and walk away.

Walking away from the problem is a viable and realistic option when you do not see any other way.

Many people stay in a situation with an unacceptable outcome because they don’t realize that they can leave.

Leaving the problem behind is a viable and realistic option.  There are times when  walking away is the best option.

DO THIS:

This is the time for a self-care activity.  Reflexology and/or Reiki are soo good for you at this moment.  Indulge yourself.  This is not a luxury.

MEDITATION:

Begin this meditation by settling yourself in a private and safe space.

Get comfortable.

If it’s appropriate and comfortable, you may want to light a candle, burn incense, or play healing music.

Close your eyes to begin your meditation.

Begin slow, even breathing from deep in your abdomen.  Breathe in clean, healing air.  Breathe out toxins and negativity.  The regularity of this slow, deep, breathing will guide you to get in touch with your inner power and knowing.

After a few breaths, you realize you are walking along a path in a gentle forest area.  As you walk along, you notice the aromas and sounds of this place.  The flowers and birds in the area call out to you.  You begin to feel that you are in a private park.

Walking along,  you see a beautiful little clearing with a bench.  You know that you are being invited to sit on this bench.  As you sit on the bench, you see light coming down from above.  It is directed at where you are.  Slowly and gently, the light gets brighter and you feel yourself becoming filled with light and healing energy.

You feel that you are in this space at this time to allow you to ponder your question.  You understand that your question has prevented you from feeling the oneness you share with the universe.

You ask yourself if you feel unworthy of the answer.  Maybe you are experiencing guilt.  Maybe you fear the earth.  Or, maybe it is several things combined.  You allow these feelings to come forward.

Now, you see them leaving you.  You are letting them go.   You see the light becoming brighter now.  It is filled with healing for you and your situation.  You feel yourself being absorbed by the light as it’s healing allows you to just BE.

This is a heart-expanding moment.  You feel at one with the energy.  You want this energy to be in your life.

You enjoy this experience for a few more  moments.

It is time to return your awareness back into your area.  Slowly and gently bring yourself back.

Know that you can return to this space whenever you want.

Celebrate!

Can you take time today to honor the end of a cycle?.  This is your opportunity to acknowledge your achievements.  It’s also time to explore the spiritual meaning of your life.

This is your celebration because today’s feelings can come only from the inside out.  You won’t get there waiting for someone else to create your happiness for you.

Because happiness comes from within, this is a good time to know and honor a fact of life:  You are the one who brings gratitude and generosity into your life every single day.

How?

Focus on those you love.  Share your heart energy today and every single day.  This is where you find happiness.

you manifested this moment.  This is your own success story.

DO THIS:

Journal a conversation with your inner child.  Explore something you might not have understood in the past.  Offer love and affection to your inner child now.  Explain your feelings.  You are complete as you are.

What do you expect to happen in the future?

Now, lay your hands on your journal and send it love and peace in the moment.

MEDITATION:

Go to a safe, secluded and comfortable space.  Sit in a comfortable chair.

Allow yourself to relax and feel good about your situation and your self.

take several breaths which begin deep within your abdomen.  Breathe in gratitude and positive thoughts. Close your eyes now as you inhale.    As you exhale, visualize all negativity and toxins leaving your body and your space.

You are relaxing now.  As you breathe, feel this calm coming up through your feet and your legs.  Feel this deep relaxation as it enters your entire body.  In a short time, feel your inbreaths filling your entire body with light and positive energy.  All is positive.

After a few moments of in and out breaths, you feel deeply relaxed.

You open your eyes and see that you are sitting in your chair under a large, inflated helium balloon.

You are so relaxed that you feel weightless.

You realize that you, your chair, and your helium balloon are floating up and up and up.

You are are above the trees now.  You look around and see this new vista generated by your place above the trees.

Still rising, you float through a cloud.  Looking down, you see the earth as a ball of light.  You enjoy the love and acceptance coming to you from the earth.

After a few moments, you know that it is time for you to return to your quiet space and your celebration of your self.  You begin to float down, down, down.

You return to this space where you began your journey feeling happy and relaxed.

You take a deep breath.  You know you can return to this journey any time you want.
