Reflexology For The Spirit

spirituality of one's health

Who am I? What do I really want? Is it Even Real?

Sometimes the question is this:  “Who are you in this experience you call your life?”

With all the choices available, how can you turn imagination into action?

Today, you have many opportunities: Money, power, relationships, dreams, aspirations, secrets, solitude, projects, career, love, and secrets.

Are you at a point where your path will continue and be healthy?  The challenge is to choose your way.

This can overwhelm you.  Do you remember what happened to your early intentions?  You are living the experience of being at a crossroads, unable to choose from the many options.

You may feel that if you choose the wrong path, you will detour on your way to your goal.  Maybe you shouldn’t even choose from the options you’ve identified so far.  Maybe the choices are only going to lead you further astray.

Your potential lies stuck somewhere in the middle between your choices and your intentions.

Underlying all of this is your fear of success which is scarier than failure.  You may not know why you don’t allow yourself to express your unlimited potential.

A question for you:  Where are you right now?

Then:  What is real and what is imaginary?

Finally:  Where are you going?

Your heart knows the way.

DO THIS:

Ground yourself with Reiki

MEDITATION:

Go to a quiet, safe place.  Choose a space where you can feel comfortable letting go of anything standing in the way of you and your soul.

Take some deep breaths now.  Inhale and exhale while you are breathing in healing and exhaling toxins and fatigue.

Begin to let go of everything you no longer need.  Let go of what no longer serves you.  This includes worn out memories, hurt, fear, negativity and everything you need to get rid of.

Be aware of releasing physical tensions as well as anything standing in the way of knowing who you are and what you stand for.

As you exhale, you are getting rid of old tensions, discomfort, and pain.

As you inhale, you draw in everything positive that you need.

After a few minutes of this breathing, you sit quietly with your feelings and situation.  You close your eyes.

After a few moments, you open your eyes and see that you are in a garden. You notice how perfect everything is.  The plants are all perfectly chosen and are all in just the right place.  You are in the midst of beauty and calm.  There is a gentle breeze.  You enjoy the aromas of the plants and flowers.

You see a small cleared space in this garden where there is an inviting chair  waiting for  you to enjoy.  The cushions seem to call out to you.  You approach the chair and  get comfortable in it.

Sitting in the chair, you notice a pathway leading to the edge of the garden.

Somehow, you know that this is a path you are invited to take.

As you walk on the path, you come to a mirror hanging on a branch of a large, beautiful tree.

You look in the mirror and see your own reflection.  You feel, as you see yourself in the mirror, connected to your past – your present – your future.

You see yourself as loving and knowing.  The answers too all your questions are in your heart.

You take a moment now to feel your connection with all there is.  This feeling blends with the air and atmosphere in the garden.

You begin to realize that this moment is blending all you know with a newness.  You feel fresh – renewed – and bright.

This garden is helping you connect to all you know as you breathe deeply – exhaling and inhaling.

The feeling is freeing – supporting – knowing.

You know now that it is time for you to return to your day.  You can return to this place any time you want. or need refreshing.

Now – after a moment – you slowly move your muscles, open your eyes, and continue on with your day.

Nostalgia & Past Lives Take You to a Place You’ve Known Before: Today. How do They Connect?

Past is a huge word.

When you think about its meaning, memories of times gone by surface.  Your timeline stretches beyond this lifetime to include previous lives.  It includes friends, family, love, careers, childhoods, adult events, conquests, and wounds.

Nostalgia reminds you of the wisdom of your past experiences so you see lessons learned and patterns repeated.  These memories influence your todays and tomorrows.

Gather the nostalgia of your past, bless your memories, and value the importance of the present.  This is where you are now.  TODAY

Begin with forgiveness.  Each day is an opportunity to use your personal history to help you as you move into the future.

Reminiscing and reconnecting ground you in your timeline of success.

DO THIS

This is a good time for a Reiki therapy session.

MEDITATION

Gently close your eyes and take some deep breaths. You may want to sigh and exhale.  Indulge yourself.

Stretch a little.

Yawn.

Breathe in and breathe out.  Notice your body adopting a regular pattern of breathing.  This is easy for you as you relax.  Notice how you relax on the outbreaths.

As you continue to relax with each in and out breath, allow yourself to travel to a meadow.  Relax into the atmosphere.  Notice the sun as as it shares it warmth for you.  Feel a gentle breeze.

You become aware of the meadow where you are resting.  Notice the grass, flowers, shrubs, and trees.

Feel the peace of this space.

Feel how you respond to the surroundings in this meadow.  Absorb the feelings of safety and peace.  Accept the wisdom of this place.  Feel your power here.

Most of all, feel safe.  You are safe here.

You look around and see a path.  You know that this path invites you to journey toward a moment of letting go.

You know that you can let go now.  You know that forgiveness means you’re moving on without lugging around so much baggage.

You know that this is a moment of peace of mind and inner calm.

You can experience miracles and blessings along with forgiveness.

At this moment, you forgive yourself as well as the other.

You are being set free.

You sense that you are moving to a new normal.  You’re at a new normal.

You are forgiven – now and forever.

You linger with this feeling for a short time.

Now, when you are ready, return to the room.  Return feeling lighter than when you left.

You stretch your muscles slowly.  And you smile.

You know that you can return to this place whenever you want.  This place is always waiting for you to experience more letting-go.

Life is Easier Without the Baggage. This is What Coming Home is Like.

When the baggage goes, you see what is left.  This leads you to a better place emotionally.

For some, this is what coming home is like.

Recovery and renewal are part of the story when you experience loss. When the old cycle ends, the new cycle begins.

Self-acceptance is the key.

Mourning and grief morph into respect and acknowledgement.  Looking back, you realize not all was lost. Learning this lesson is important to avoid repetition.

Wounds become temporary as they heal.  Forgiveness is part of the story.  With forgiveness, stagnation, self-pity, and loss cannot drain away your focus.

See yourself in a brighter future.  Reclaim your happiness, embrace hope, and eliminate grief.

Release your negative thoughts, events, and relationships.  This can be challenging when you carry your baggage through life with you.

Because it’s hard to leave the baggage behind, you’re tempted to take it with you.

Life is easier without the negativity of the baggage.

When you offload the baggage, you can make peace with what is there.

Now, you can move on to a better place.

A MEDITATION:

Begin this meditation as you sit in a comfortable position.  You may prefer to recline.  The important thing is to be comfortable and feel safe.

The goal is to be in a position where you are open to receive.

Close your eyes.

Take a deep breath – in through your nose and out through the mouth. Repeat this breath pattern several times.  Each inbreath brings healing, and relaxation.  Each exhale removes toxins and negativity.

Continue breathing slowly and deeply.  Each breath brings relaxation to your entire body.  Each exhale continues to remove toxins and negativity.

When you feel relaxed and comfortable, look around.

You are in a small canoe on a pond.  The water on the pond is still and peaceful.  Your canoe is in the center of the pond.

You sink into the deep and welcoming cushions in the canoe.  You enjoy the comfort.  You feel the peace and the stillness of the canoe and the pond.

A small current moves your canoe toward a gentle stream.  As the canoe  moves with the breeze, you notice the temperature of the air around you.  You see the trees, shrubbery, flowers, and grass along the edge of the pond.

You notice the lazy clouds moving overhead.  You see beautiful birds in the air overhead.

You become aware of the gratitude you feel just being in this space.  You appreciate the energy and the peace.  You don’t have to do anything.  Just enjoy.

After a short time, the breeze carries you and your canoe toward the shore.  You are on the beach.  Being on the beach makes you feel strong and healthy.  You feel you are a part of the earth.

As you stand beside the canoe, you experience healing energy.  You absorb the quiet of the moment.  Taking peaceful energy into your very center, you know you will remember it.

It is now time to return to your body and your conscious thought.  As you slowly move your body, you open your eyes.

Returning to full awareness, you remember all the beauty and peace you experienced on your meditation.

You know that you can return to this space whenever you desire.

Renewed and rejuvenated, you continue with your day…

Discovering the Magic of Connection

When I think about the Magic of connection, a whole vocabulary surfaces:

Equality means respecting and embracing the person, the situation, and the story you participate in.

Mutual respect means accepting the reality of the person and the situation.

Other terms:  Collaboration, Companionship, Light-hearted, Understanding.

The Magic of connection depends on honest acceptance.  In a business or personal relationship you care for someone beyond yourself.  You reflect yourself through the other.

When you think of the Magic of connection, you may think of romantic love.  But this is not always the case.

A Magic Connection happens when two people from different directions and paths come together in the same space.

You can discover a Magic Connection around a job, ideologically directed events, cooking, or other things.  This connection has a soul-driven component.  There is a vulnerability  including  both partners.

When the Magic of Connection explores the past and future selves, an experience with duality emerges.

The Magic of Connection has a vibrational component  reaching  back to the mists of time past.  Your heart may lead you to heal historical miscommunications, disharmonies, and wounds.

Are you considering the Magic of Connection with someone who relates confidentially with you?  When considering this person, ask yourself:   Who receives the most attention and emotional space?

Imagine yourself sitting on a seesaw with this person.  Does the image reveal you in balance?  Are the scales even?

A MEDITATION

In a Magic connection relationship, step back a moment.  Give yourself a chance to breathe.

You can do this now.  Breathe through your feet in this meditation.

To begin with an inbreath at your toes, remove your shoes and get comfortable.

While you inhale, move your toes back and forth.  Stretch them.  Give them space to relax and feel the surrounding air.  Your toes reflex your brain, your neck.  They reflex your vision and hearing in a response to this exercise.

As you move down your toes to the metatarsal sole of your feet, feel the tension leaving your feet.   Notice how your feet feel without the tight shoes or stockings.  Visualize your feet smiling.

Experience this free feeling as it expands to your entire body.

Move your feet back and forth.  Move them in circles.  Let them relax.  As your feet relax, notice how the reflex points in your feet transfer to your whole body.

Notice your chakras now.  Feel the inclusive expansion of your feet to include a full-body relaxation that includes not only the muscles, bones, organs, and the chakras in your body.

When you reach this relaxed space in your body and spirit, hold the moment.  Breathe it in.  Enjoy it!  Absorb the moment.  Smile.

Take a few final relaxing breaths to end this exercise.

When it’s time to put your shoes back on, remember that you can enjoy this freedom of movement anytime.

Begin Your Adventure! How to Maximize An Opportunity to Give You Hope Again

Your opportunity is a powerful game changer.

Opportunities can be emotional, healing, and intimate.  They give you hope again.

Not coming around often, your opportunity seems like a gift card.

Whenever it appears in your life, one thing is sure:  You may not see the size, shape, weight, or anything else about your opportunity..

You may not know yet how much or where you’ll spend your opportunity’s currency.  It may even be difficult to impossible to visualize how your opportunity will end up.  .

Begin the adventure!

Connect with this.  Feel it.  Smell it.  Hear it.  Let it touch your heart.  Take it and make it what it will eventually become.

However this opportunity develops, use it to fulfill your dream.

Sometimes beginnings can be challenging.  The moment can be profound, even.

As your opportunity takes shape, the events may be powerful.  This can release creative and intuitive emotions.  When this happens, you may connect with your opportunity physically and spiritually.

Give it the definition It needs.

This may guide you to forgive and heal yourself.  Get ready.  Self-acceptance can be expansive.  This can be good for your opportunity and its definition.

Pay attention to the activities in your unconscious self.

You are opening up your self.  Protect your heart. It is open and filling with love.

A good step now is to write yourself a letter.  Support yourself here and now.  Welcome the growth you experience.  Embrace change and all the wondrous things coming your way.  Give yourself permission  to be the person you choose to be.  This includes your thoughts, emotions, and everything making you who you are.

Breathe in those things promising your success.  Radiate power, confidence, and whatever supports it.

Receive your talents and everything else in the world important to your self.

Accept those positive gifts and “run with them” as my grandmother used to say.

Spend time receiving Reiki therapy and reflexology sessions.  These sessions promote balance and homeostasis.  They will support your opportunity journey in ways you may not know at the moment.  Balance and homeostasis cannot be overstated.

This is Big! Life is Hectic, Busy and Full – it’s all Coming Your Way!

A lot is going on now – maybe too much.  It’s coming your way!

Security, success, and abundance are waiting for us to seek out.  There is enough to spread around and share.

Watch everything shift when you add positive energy and abundance to your life.

Your family and the surrounding community are the foundation for this situation.  Your support group and your community represent strength and comfort for us all.

Something I’ve thought about recently is legacy.  What do you want for yourself and what are your long term goals?

What improvements can you make?

What can you create in this world?

How can you touch hearts?

Can you build a future with hard work, love, and commitment?

Can you offer a gift to your community?

What can a lasting gift from you be?

Can you create things that others will consider meaningful?

Work is challenging.  Paying attention to your body, it facilitates a lot of your life with mostly not too many complaints.

Take a moment now and pay attention to your body.  Do you notice any areas needing attention?  Is your body speaking to you?

Honor your body now.  Thank it for all it has done for you throughout your years together.  Thank your body for the support it provides over time.

What can you do to take better care of it?

How about a better diet?

Enough sleep?

Regular Reiki sessions are wonderful gifts you can give to yourself.

Journal an entry thanking your body for all the things it has done for you in the past, is doing for you now, and will do for you in the future.

Are You Getting Through Your Day on Autopilot?

Are you getting through your day on autopilot?

For me, that’s a scary thought!  When I find myself working on autopilot, any change to my pace is a real challenge.  After all, I have a tendency to just “Plug Along”.

To get off autopilot, you may have to look elsewhere for the techniques and tactics that produce the abundance you promised yourself.

Sometimes it’s a good thing to just  stop and look at where you’re putting your efforts.  Ask yourself this:  “When I step back and consider everything, is it worth it?”

Or, “Do I just keep plugging along or do I look elsewhere?”  A lot depends on how tired you are and how tedious the situation is.

Actually, I’ve faced this situation several times throughout my life.  And, I bet you have too.  I believe that weighing the pros and cons at my job to be fairly common situations…..

Consider this:  Things are happening, even if you can’t see the progress.

When you reach this plateau in your situation – whether it’s your job or a relationship or a fitness workout – it may be time to pause.  Lean into your faith and give thanks.

A good activity here is Reiki Therapy and/or reflexology.  Whether you book an appointment and receive a session or offer yourself self-Reiki is not important.  The important thing is that Reiki and reflexology are appropriate whether you give, share a session, take a class, or teach a class.

Take a break:  This can be a meditation, a short time to honor your breath, or going for a walk.  Finally, limit multitasking.

Whatever it is, you need a time out to remind yourself of your purpose.  Revisit your destination.

A project now is to prioritize and focus and review your energetic input.

What are some areas in your life where you are responsible?  Take a time out to write about these responsibilities and the sense of fulfillment you feel.  Some categories to journal about may include your health, spiritual growth, physical health, community, sleep, good deeds.  Are you proud of these responsibilities?

Your life is headed in a beautiful direction.  Express gratitude now for the coming results.  Manifest your goals with focus, attention, intention, and awareness.

Leave your frustrations, fuzzy goals, and sapped energy behind.

Focus on your goals that will make your heart sing.

It’s All About Being of Service

As you give and receive, you develop, practice, and fine-tune the helping hands you need to get through life.

It’s all about sharing with others. Sometimes, the relationship between giving and receiving can be one-sided.

Through the daily giving and receiving experience, you balance yourself.  When giving and receiving become an almost-automatic way of life, you are more balanced than you realize.

When you give your time, money, or energy to someone else, the floodgates open with resources for you. Resources come your way.

Are you longing for something right now?

If so, it is time to give of yourself.  Open your heart to the balance.  Give thanks for what you are about to receive.

The ideal situation is to make giving a way of life so you are prepared for abundance, which is on its way toward you.

GIVE TO RECEIVE

Make this a daily habit.  Be of service.  Offer your help or time just because you can give.  You don’t need a reason.

Volunteer or donate or call a friend just to say “hi”.

Don’t worry about the ego here.  It’s not necessary.  Just lean into the giving part.

Lean into regular Reiki and reflexology sessions.

Two good questions: Where can you give more?  Where can you receive more?

Running on Empty

We all have days like this.

I’m tired from the inside out.  My body is tired.  And, I’m tired of being  tired.

When I get this tired, I feel low – lacking.  Hopeless is the word for this moment.

I feel that my world simply left me out in the cold.  My world dropped me off somewhere empty, shut the door, and plans to forget me.

There is no one out there for me.  Nobody is offering me nourishment.

I am alone in this – alone and empty.

I am depleted.

There is only one way out of this:  kindness.

Kindness is color in the black and white landscape.

When I feel this way, I turn to my old standby:  Reiki therapy.  When I receive a Reiki session, I reconnect to my inner strength.  I see the magnificent rainbow color in the bleak black and white landscape.

The door is closed – but it is not locked.  My task now is to open the door.

Thank you for reading this article.

I’m Getting By

How are you doing?

Sometimes, when we ask a person how you’re doing, we learn that you need to take a breath and pause.

Often, when a person says “I’m getting by”, the subject is about  money.  The vocabulary for “I’m getting by” includes frugality, guarding, security.  “I’m Getting By” is really an accurate way of saying:  I “Have only enough”.

If you are getting by, the chances are you’re addressing your money wounds.

This may be a good time for that.  After all, we all have money issues.

Money is loaded with memories.  They go back beyond our parents who themselves passed their parents’ own money stories down to us. Getting to the bottom line, money is a legacy.  Everyone has a money legacy.

Take a moment to call up your first money memory.

Do you remember a time when saving crossed over the line into hoarding?

Do you journal?  Have you ever journaled  your money stories, memories, and issues?  I don’t ever remember discussing journaling about money.

Serious healing can begin with money journaling.  Money journaling addresses  insecurities and abundance blocks passed down for generations.

Some day, when you have a chance, hold some coins in your hand and see them as mandalas – spiritual markers in your life.  When you see mandalas instead of coins, the light in the room suddenly becomes more clear.

The mandalas represent the part of the self which is the core of your money interest and experience.

Have you thought about how trust blends with your money issues and your life goals?  It seems these things are all braided together.

Money is not the end in itself.  In the final analysis, it’s not the money.  It’s how we respond to it and deal with it over time.  It’s how we respond to the money in different situations in life.

Meditation will help you become aware of your inner money potential.  Reiki and reflexology are two grounding and healing modalities which can help you explore  your legacy and your future.   Include healing modalities in your money growth whenever appropriate.

When things seem to be working well, prosperity flows into your life.
