Getting to Know You<\/strong><\/p>\n

The World Card is the final card in the major arcana. Everything is revealed here:\u00a0 everything, everywhere, and all at once.\u00a0 Things are ready to begin again.\u00a0 Welcome rewards and success!\u00a0 Wisdom is in action here!<\/p>\n

The end of one cycle brings the beginning of a new one.\u00a0 Remain focused.\u00a0 Follow through if you can.\u00a0 The energy of success is as important as that of its beginnings.\u00a0 Accept the completion as a gift.\u00a0 You are rising to a new level of awareness.<\/p>\n

Think back to your original intention.\u00a0 You have reached a happy ending!\u00a0 Bliss!\u00a0 Your life is filled with positive energy.\u00a0 You’ve done it!\u00a0 Experience the energy of a successful ending.<\/p>\n

Accept what you have learned on your journey. Welcome the rewards, joy, and success.\u00a0 Welcome them and rejoice!<\/p>\n

Take this opportunity to dance into the future. Living your success and moving onward and upward, you are comfortable taking your rightful place in the world.<\/p>\n

This moment in time affects you physically.\u00a0 You feel it physically.<\/p>\n

What does this mean for you?\u00a0 It means you come to terms with yourself because you know the value of your situation.<\/p>\n

Story<\/strong><\/p>\n

As a child, I lived for a time with my mother’s older sister – Rose Guthrie.<\/p>\n

Times were tough then.\u00a0 World War II was raging. I was a young child living in a small Texas town.\u00a0 Rocksprings was then, and still is, a small ranching community in the middle of nowhere Texas, on the Edwards Plateau.<\/p>\n

If you want to imagine the terrain, remember going to the movies years ago and seeing “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly”.<\/p>\n

We lived in a Craftsman House, located on the edge of town, on Route 674 headed toward Brackettville.\u00a0 I lived in this house with Mother Rose Guthrie, and my grandmother Lily Dale Cox Thurman.<\/p>\n

I liked to sit out on the edge of this road.\u00a0 I waited for cars that never came by.\u00a0 Gasoline was rationed.\u00a0 Nobody went anywhere unless there were ration stamps for the gas.<\/p>\n

There were\u00a0 few men in my memory of this time, really.<\/p>\n

Every able bodied man was fighting in the war.\u00a0 My father was in Europe in the OSS.\u00a0 Uncle Roland was in the Pacific.\u00a0 Aunt Ruby was an Army nurse.\u00a0 Mother Rose was the Deputy Sheriff of Edwards County.<\/p>\n

On the evening I remember, Mother Rose was home from work in the Court House.\u00a0 We sat by the radio in the living room.\u00a0 Mother Rose and I shared the same chair.<\/p>\n

The radio was on.\u00a0 We all listened to the news of the war.\u00a0 The voice of newsman Gabriel Heater could be heard throughout the living room, dining room, and kitchen.<\/p>\n

Mother Rose smoked a Lucky Strike Cigarette and I inhaled the second hand smoke.<\/p>\n

She read the comics to me from the San Antonio Evening News.\u00a0 My favorite comic strip at that time were “Dick Tracy” and “Archie”.\u00a0 As Mother Rose read the comics, she followed every word with a finger.<\/p>\n

This was a kind of ritual for us.<\/p>\n

So, on the evening in my memory, a man came up to the front door and knocked. “Mother Rose, I’m sorry to bother you this evening but I really need to talk to you.”<\/p>\n

“What can I do for you, Johnny?” she replied.<\/p>\n

“I just killed a man, Mother Rose.\u00a0 I guess I need to go to jail.”<\/p>\n

With that statement, Mother Rose put down her cigarette and newspaper.\u00a0 She got up out of the chair, walked over to her purse, and removed a key.\u00a0 Handing him the key, she spoke.\u00a0 “Go on off to jail, Johnny.\u00a0 I’ll see you tomorrow.”<\/p>\n

This was grace in action.<\/p>\n

It was also authentic.\u00a0 Her intuition guided her, telling her what was right for the situation.\u00a0 Mother Rose knew where she belonged.\u00a0 She knew who she was.\u00a0 She knew what she was.\u00a0 And, she knew why.\u00a0 She was the answer.<\/p>\n

Life Changing Rituals<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now is the time to quit with the negative self-talk and graciously accept compliments from others.<\/p>\n

Your present moment is filled with joy and happiness. Challenge yourself now to see this moment for what it is.<\/p>\n

Reflect on your journey.\u00a0 This is a good time to write a memoir or manifesto.\u00a0 If those seem to be too much, go for a short magazine essay, at least.<\/p>\n

Meditation<\/strong><\/p>\n

Go to your safe and quiet place.\u00a0 Sit comfortably.\u00a0 If it’s appropriate, light a candle, burn incense, listen to healing music.<\/p>\n

When you are quiet, breathe in and out.\u00a0 Notice your breath as it flows in and out of your body.<\/p>\n

Close your eyes as your breath becomes slower and deeper,\u00a0 Your relaxation deepens with each exhale.\u00a0 Your exhales release negativity and toxins. You relax more with each breath.<\/p>\n

As the relaxation increases, your space becomes calm and quiet.\u00a0 Your inner voice calms.\u00a0 Your mind becomes clear.<\/p>\n

As the relaxation continues, you notice you are in an outdoor space.\u00a0 You look upward and see a blue sky with slow-moving, lazy clouds.\u00a0 \u00a0These puffy clouds drift in and out overhead as you become more and more relaxed.<\/p>\n

You are quiet now and realize you are seated on the edge of a slowly moving stream.<\/p>\n

You sit in shallow water moving along the edge of the stream.<\/p>\n

You sit in the shallow water and feel the water\u00a0 moving past you.\u00a0You look upward and see the sky with its puffy clouds.<\/p>\n

You feel the water moving over your hips, legs, and feet.\u00a0 The movement is gentle and uplifting.\u00a0 You\u00a0 enjoy sitting in the gently moving water which feels perfect.<\/p>\n

You listen to the sounds of the water moving past you.\u00a0 You feel it moving over your feet and legs.<\/p>\n

As you sit at the edge of the water, you notice tension leaving your body.\u00a0 It seems to be floating away in the water.<\/p>\n

You concentrate on releasing your tension.\u00a0 As the tension leaves your body, you feel lighter.\u00a0 You feel relaxed.\u00a0 You feel peaceful.\u00a0 You feel all negativity leaving your body now.<\/p>\n

You notice that you have released tension and negativity.\u00a0 This is a good feeling for you at this time.<\/p>\n

Lightness – relaxation – positivity become part of your body on a cellular level.<\/p>\n

When you are ready, open your eyes, blow out the candle and return your attention to the present time and your surroundings.<\/p>\n
