changes can you make to insure your success is the best it can be.<\/p>\n Story<\/strong><\/p>\n The year was 2013.\u00a0 I was struggling to write my first memoir.\u00a0 Enrolled in Gotham Writers, I rode the bus to a weekly class in the city.<\/p>\n Things weren’t going well.\u00a0 I had never written much before and I was having trouble making my story believable.\u00a0 My fellow classmates, savvy NYC residents, just weren’t connecting to my life in a small-town food pantry.<\/p>\n My grandmother entered the picture.\u00a0 She stayed with me from page one to the very end.\u00a0 “Take this down.\u00a0 Get this down now.\u00a0 Write this.”\u00a0 Her instructions produced a coherent book that people were willing to read.<\/p>\n When I remember the magical moments, I think about the last time my Grandmother spoke to me.\u00a0 I stood beside Stuart Kline in the Bread Alone Coffee House in Woodstock, when Dan Leader, the owner, came up to me with a request.<\/p>\n “I need someone to colect surplus bread at my bakery and take it to the Food Bank in Albany daily for food pantries.\u00a0 Do you know anyone?”<\/p>\n “I’m sorry I don’t.\u00a0 But I’ll ask around.”\u00a0 That should have been the end of the story.\u00a0 But, it wasn’t.\u00a0 There was more…lot’s more.\u00a0 With that remark, I had a flash.<\/p>\n Lily Dale Cox Thurman, my grandmother spoke to me one final time.\u00a0 She didn’t whisper in my ear like she usually did.<\/p>\n On this morning, she spoke clearly, focusing on my first visit to the food pantry that morning several years ago.<\/p>\n The Star Card energy reminded me that hope and inspiration waited to help me.\u00a0 I only needed to believe in myself and tell my story with authenticity.\u00a0 That energy carried me through to the end of the book.\u00a0 The message was to connect to my inner light.<\/p>\n When the Star Card appears, inspiration surrounds and empowers you so you can live with purpose and positivity.\u00a0 Good fortune and optimist flow.\u00a0 Here comes a new and happy phase of life!<\/p>\n I saw her there that morning in our midst.\u00a0 Her presence was clear.\u00a0 There weren’t three of us in the conversation.\u00a0 There were four.\u00a0 She made her wishes known then, and I couldn’t stall around any longer.\u00a0 Her presence was clear.<\/p>\n “Write that down.\u00a0 Get it down now.\u00a0 You can do it.”<\/p>\n Trust life and set new goals for the future because opportunities for your personal and career paths are opening up.\u00a0 The Star shines on education and creative activities.\u00a0 There can be an interest in all things mystical.<\/p>\n An inner, renewed sense of self-belief helps you overcome recent traumas.<\/p>\n It’s up to you to see opportunities coming into your life.\u00a0 Investigate them!<\/p>\n The Star connects you to loved ones on the other side.\u00a0 Remember that someone is looking out for you.<\/p>\n You are able to achieve your goals.\u00a0 With the Star you understand what these goals should be.<\/p>\n Consider not only where you’re going but those who will be coming after you.<\/p>\n Life Changing Rituals<\/strong><\/p>\n Breathe in and out now as you relax.\u00a0 Allow your breathing to become even and regular.<\/p>\n Continue your meditation breathing for more minutes.<\/p>\n After a few minutes see yourself relaxing from your feet up toward your head.<\/p>\n As you inhale and exhale, notice your feet and then your legs as they feel relaxed and calm.<\/p>\n In a few breaths, you feel your abdomen as it becomes soft and relaxed.\u00a0 This relaxation continues up through your body until, finally, your torso is quiet, calm, and relaxed.<\/p>\n You begin to look around you and realize you are resting in a quiet garden.\u00a0 You look around yourself and notice the area.\u00a0 You see the trees, shrubbery, and flowers in this place.\u00a0 You take note of the air.\u00a0 You smell the clean air.\u00a0 You see a calm blue sky with puffy clouds above you.<\/p>\n You look around and notice a pathway.\u00a0 You decide to explore this pathway.\u00a0 As you walk along, you feel the ground underneath your feet.<\/p>\n Soon, the path takes a turn to a more private space with a bench.\u00a0 As you walk along, notice how it feels to move along the path.\u00a0 Notice what your thoughts and feelings are about what you are doing and where you are going.<\/p>\n The path takes another turn and you see a comfortable bench which seems to be waiting for you.<\/p>\n You walk over to the bench and sit.<\/p>\n Looking around, you see the plants – the flowers – the trees – the sky.\u00a0 Taking a deep breath of appreciation, you realize you are here to absorb some knowledge about your abilities and your future.<\/p>\n As you look around, you notice how it feels to be here.\u00a0 You understand that this is a place which exists to give you answers to your questions.\u00a0 The guidance and wisdom is here, waiting for you to see it and understand it.\u00a0 This is the gift of the space where you are.<\/p>\n You take a few moments to process your gratitude.\u00a0 You feel much calm now.\u00a0 You feel that you know the way now.<\/p>\n You also know that you can come to this space any time you want.\u00a0 The answers you seek are waiting for you when the time is right.<\/p>\n As you become more relaxed, you breathe in relaxation for your heart, your lungs.\u00a0 Your arms, hands, and fingers relax.<\/p>\n This relaxation moves up to your neck and shoulders.<\/p>\n Breathe in and out rest and relaxation.<\/p>\n You thank your body for the work it has done for you.\u00a0 As you inhale gratitude, you are also exhaling fatigue.<\/p>\n You breathe deeply and relax.\u00a0 Finally, your breath moves over your entire body as you relax completely.\u00a0 You relax more and more as you feel more and more calm and grateful.<\/p>\n Your breath and gratitude work together to create a circle of relaxation.<\/p>\n You are refreshed, relaxed, and feeling better.\u00a0 You are relaxed in both your body and your mind.<\/p>\n You breathe quietly for a few more moments and then
