My schedule is packed.\u00a0 It’s jammed.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

But, that’s okay. It’s an uptown problem.<\/p>\n

Each day, I know I’m going to find some real jewels throughout my schedule.<\/p>\n

One thing I’ve learned over the years is this:\u00a0 When my schedule is totally out of control, the universe will deal with the situation.\u00a0 Someone will cancel or something quirky will happen which will result in a beautiful hole.<\/p>\n

Finding time is like finding a wonderful, shiny object.<\/p>\n

It’s not so important to worry about what or when or how much time you’re going to find..<\/p>\n

Those are details.<\/p>\n

What’s important is to be prepared…<\/p>\n

Know what you’re going to do when you find a few extra 5 or 6 minutes or maybe even a whole hour.\u00a0\u00a0These are perfect moments in your day that can be used however you want.\u00a0 Make your “found time” list.<\/p>\n

Get lost in a book.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Go for a quick stroll.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Sip a tea.<\/p>\n

Meditate.<\/p>\n

Plan.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Journal.<\/p>\n

Stare out the window – even if you’re not in front of a window.<\/p>\n

Disconnect.<\/p>\n

Switch off.<\/p>\n

Whatever you do with these “found” moments, the important thing is to carve out these pockets of time for yourself.<\/p>\n
