GETTING TO KNOW THE FOOL<\/p>\n

For me, The Fool is not a here-today-gone-tomorrow event in your life.\u00a0 When The Fool invites you to come along on this path, you have an opportunity to live and learn from all the other\u00a0 Major arcana as you travel from the Magician to The World.\u00a0 This is your one-way ticket to your spiritual journey.<\/p>\n

The Fool is the most powerful card in the deck.\u00a0 To the Fool, what can be and what actually is, are the same.<\/p>\n

The Fool mentors the Tarot as he journeys through all the experiences of life, changed by each experience.\u00a0 As The Fool Journeys through the major arcana, he journeys through the experiences of life, changed by each event.<\/p>\n

We experience these challenges as we travel through our own life journeys, adapting and reawakening.\u00a0 The presence of The Fool shows up in every spread.<\/p>\n

The Fool lives in the moment.\u00a0 His journeys are unintentional.\u00a0 This life story does not limit him.<\/p>\n

The Fool’s appearance tells you that something new has just entered in your life.\u00a0 This is the new beginning you’ve been needing:\u00a0 opportunity, adventure, and escape.<\/p>\n

Experiences reveal your true potential.\u00a0 Your new life journey with The Fool\u00a0 is exciting!<\/p>\n

New challenges and projects empower you to find yourself.\u00a0 You now move toward spiritual self-enlightenment.\u00a0 Enjoy the truth right in front of you!<\/p>\n

STORY<\/p>\n

Back in the 90’s I took a massage class.\u00a0 I’d already graduated from PMTI a decade before. Marge D’Urso, my reflexology guru, taught a new kind of massage.<\/p>\n

Our class was small, only about 8 students.\u00a0 Including Elizabeth.\u00a0 While the rest of us were trying to learn new massage strokes and more about the body systems, Elizabeth flew through the class.\u00a0 It seemed the information went from Marge’s mouth straight to her brain.\u00a0 She absorbed the information through the pores of her skin.\u00a0 Elizabeth was on a path.<\/p>\n

Elizabeth somehow found a source of untapped potential and was making a new start in life.\u00a0 She jumped into the unknown with both feet!<\/p>\n

After a while, Marge had us each gathering our list of people for our clinicals.\u00a0 While we scrounged around looking for people, Elizabeth had lists of names and phone numbers of people who seemingly appeared out of nowhere to be on her\u00a0 list to receive a massage.<\/p>\n

A couple of people in the class began to get a little jealous.<\/p>\n

I didn’t.\u00a0 I saw her situation for what it was: Marge’s massage class was a new beginning for Elizabeth.\u00a0 She was on a path.\u00a0 More specifically, Elizabeth was a modern-day personification of the age-old Tarot card “The Fool”.<\/p>\n

While the rest of us word comfortable student clothing (jeans or sweatpants), Elizabeth came to every class dressed richly, celebrating her total openness to life and anything on the curriculum that day.\u00a0 More importantly, Elizabeth wore gorgeous shoes. She wore sandals with 4-inch heels, or wedge-soled pumps.\u00a0 Elizabeth’s shoes celebrated life, love, and reflexology.<\/p>\n

Each class was a new opportunity for her to learn whatever new thing Marge set out for us.\u00a0 Elizabeth was fearless!. .<\/p>\n

Elizabeth was an innocent student absorbing the wisdom of the class.\u00a0 \u00a0This set her apart.\u00a0 She was a separate category all by herself.\u00a0 When I saw this, I realized that this “separateness” meant she fit anywhere and everywhere.<\/p>\n

She was a totally free spirit.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

How did this happen?\u00a0 She saw through the illusions and took a chance on knowledge, peace, and, finally, liberation!<\/p>\n

But Elizabeth didn’t travel alone. Her companions and friends supported her.\u00a0 Her experiences supported her without controlling her.\u00a0 Her healing skills became symbols of power.<\/p>\n

When the rest of us were afraid to move forward using our new skills, Elizabeth saw that the new things she learned represented possibilities and opportunities,\u00a0 even in new learning territory and difficult chapters.<\/p>\n

Elizabeth’s fool energy stood for her inner spiritual freedom that allowed her to enjoy her new skills, accomplishments, and avoid entrapment.<\/p>\n

If Elizabeth was afraid of unexpected surprises along the way, she never let any of us know.\u00a0 Her confidence and idealism seemed to allow her to be ready for everything.<\/p>\n

When the class ended, Elizabeth embarked on the next leg of her journey.\u00a0 She danced along to her career unafraid of surprises which might be on their way.\u00a0 She went job hunting, carrying her ubiquitous bag which I felt was certainly filled with magical opportunities.<\/p>\n

Time passed.<\/p>\n

The last time I spoke with Elizabeth, she admitted that she had had several jobs before she found the best opportunity.\u00a0 Her confidence and idealism carried her through to the best place waiting for her.<\/p>\n

Elizabeth and her healing embraced the world and all it had to offer.\u00a0 For sure Elizabeth is still out there, living the “Fool” life.\u00a0 She calls on us to listen to the child inside, to follow our instincts.<\/p>\n

Was Elizabeth always right?\u00a0 Of course not.\u00a0 Do we think we understand what leads her on?\u00a0 No.\u00a0 Her “fool”ish inner core led us on.<\/p>\n

Thank you Elizabeth, for your inspiration.\u00a0 Sometimes, I think you were never real.\u00a0 But, in the end, I know you were.\u00a0 All of us have a “fool” in our lives.\u00a0 We just need to recognize this when we see it.<\/p>\n

You have a one-way ticket to a long-term spiritual journey which guides you a you travel from The Magician to The World.<\/p>\n

Along the way, you will ask the big questions here:\u00a0 What is the meaning of life?\u00a0 What is your purpose?<\/p>\n

Whatever happens or doesn’t happen, you can feel as if the answers are waiting for you.\u00a0 All you have to do is find them.<\/p>\n

Celebrate this new normal.<\/p>\n

FOCUS IN<\/p>\n

When you meet up with The Fool, he invites you on a journey of a lifetime and for a lifetime.\u00a0 This experience calls for a celebration.\u00a0 You are embarking on your own personal spiritual journey which unlocks spiritual secrets for you.<\/p>\n

Pick up the phone and schedule an appointment with a food reflexologist!<\/p>\n

MEDITATION<\/p>\n

Find a quiet, safe, and comfortable space for your meditation.<\/p>\n

If you want, light a candle, burn incense, or turn on healing music.<\/p>\n

Get comfortable now.\u00a0 Sit or lie with your spine straight.\u00a0 Your goal is to be comfortable enough to be unaware of your body.<\/p>\n

Begin breathing comfortably now.\u00a0 Take a deep breath.\u00a0 Hold it for a moment.\u00a0 Release it.\u00a0 See and feel tension leave you with each in or out breath.<\/p>\n

Take a deep breath – Hold it for a moment.\u00a0 Release it.\u00a0 See the tension leave.<\/p>\n

Your inbreaths bring positive feelings, calm, and peace.\u00a0 Your outbreaths release tension, stress, negativity.\u00a0 Continue this breathing pattern for a few moments until you feel calm.<\/p>\n

You notice now that you are in a parklike setting surrounded by trees, shrubbery, and plants.\u00a0 You see a rose bush nearby.\u00a0 It has a white rose bloom.<\/p>\n

You are seated on a bench with a small dog curled up at your feet.<\/p>\n

You look around and see that the sun is shining.\u00a0 The sky\u00a0 is a clear blue.\u00a0 The temperature feels comfortable.<\/p>\n

You see snow capped mountains off in the distance.<\/p>\n

Looking closely around the bench, you see that you are in a clearing in a forest.\u00a0 You see several paths leading around your bench.\u00a0 You realize that they are each an invitation for you.<\/p>\n

You know that it is time for you to choose the path most attractive for you.\u00a0 You know that each of these paths offers a success.<\/p>\n

You walk now to the path which you know is the one waiting for you.\u00a0 You know that this path is yours.<\/p>\n

You look around and know it is time to return to your day now.\u00a0 You return to your bench, take a last look at the scene and return to your breathing.<\/p>\n

You return now to the space where you found your comfortable meditation space.\u00a0 You know you can return to the bench, the white rose, the snow-capped mountain, and the path whenever you want.<\/p>\n

You may decide to journal this moment to take notes for future notes.<\/p>\n
