(I normally drink filtered water but, with\u00a0 a detox week, I&#8217;ll add a variety of waters which I get at the health food store.\u00a0 I also drink some of the Saratoga Springs Waters.)\u00a0 And, I&#8217;ll alternate my water with <strong>herbal teas<\/strong> to support my liver, lymphatic system, bowels, urinary tract and skin.<\/p>\n<p><strong> DRINK 8 GLASSES OF WATER<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> DRINK 2 CUPS OF HERBAL TEA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For a <strong>fresh-air<\/strong> <strong>treat<\/strong>, I go to my local garden center and buy a new plant to help detox my home.\u00a0 I love ferns. Truthfully, I love any plant that I can grow.\u00a0 I started growing houseplants during the pandemic.\u00a0 I definitely don&#8217;t have a green thumb but I&#8217;ve managed to collect plants which are surviving in my home.\u00a0 The oxygen they produce is important.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GET A PLANT FOR FRESH AIR<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My detox week includes a <strong>daily cleansing walk,<\/strong> \u00a0a short 20-30 minute walk I take in my neighborhood to breathe fresh air and enjoy my community.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TAKE A 20-MINUTE WALK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/tree1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1885\" src=\"https:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/tree1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/tree1-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/tree1.jpg 532w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Finally, I include <strong>breathing properly to dispel toxins and wastes.\u00a0 <\/strong>When I celebrate a detox week, I set aside time each day to practice deep, slow, rhythmic breathing.\u00a0 This clears my mind, lifts my energy, and boosts my mood.<\/p>\n<p><strong> TAKE 10<\/strong> <strong>CLEANSING BREATHS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/breathe1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium Include one session for the week or, if time permits, include a daily session.<\/p>\n<p><a
