Add Self-Care!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/yumcakeTG.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4589\" src=\"https:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/yumcakeTG-291x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"291\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/yumcakeTG-291x300.jpg 291w, https:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/yumcakeTG-768x791.jpg 768w, https:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/yumcakeTG.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 291px) 100vw, 291px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Do you ever somehow find yourself in a place where you know you need to get back to your basic self.\u00a0 Things remind you it&#8217;s time to return yourself to your heart.<\/p>\n<p>These reminders may include fatigue, anxiety, insomnia, loneliness, burnout, or foggy thinking.<\/p>\n<p>You wake up one day, or a moment in one day, realizing that you are spending 80% of your time scanning, scrolling, downloading, and editing.\u00a0 And you&#8217;re spending only 20% of your time processing all those things you&#8217;ve been inputting.<\/p>\n<p>Or maybe you are spending 80% of your time frantically chasing tasks which have no meaning for you but are on the &#8220;necessary list&#8221; anyway.<\/p>\n<p>Alas, it&#8217;s the old 80-20 law at work again.\u00a0 The essential\u00a0 processing is getting 20% of your focus and the scanning and scrolling are getting 80%.<\/p>\n<p>There ARE things you can do to help you find your heart.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/FullSizeRender1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1222\" src=\"https:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/FullSizeRender1-300x236.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"236\" srcset=\"https:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/FullSizeRender1-300x236.jpg 300w, https:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/FullSizeRender1-1024x806.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Try self-care.\u00a0 Self-care can be magical because it comes from inside yourself where you process important things better.<\/p>\n<p>Suddenly, the 20% takes on renewed color and shape and form as it becomes the center-stage activity it should have been all along.<\/p>\n<p>But, where do you begin?\u00a0 Begin with intention.\u00a0 Whatever you choose for your self-care therapy, if you begin with intention, inspiration will follow.<\/p>\n<p>So, how do you start this new project?<\/p>\n<p>Begin with trust.\u00a0 Trust that your intuition will inspire you to know what is calling you. Your intuition will allow you to try different things and focus on what appeals to you.\u00a0 Self-care can be many different things.\u00a0 It can be one thing.<\/p>\n<p>As you begin to explore self-care, allow yourself to respond to what appeals to you.\u00a0 Let your heart guide you to what you need.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s say that you are attracted to essential oils.\u00a0 Or, maybe you always wanted to begin a meditation practice.\u00a0 These two options can be followed one at a time or together.<\/p>\n<p>The important thing is that you listen to what is calling to you.<\/p>\n<p>Whatever self-care tools you explore and use, you\u00a0 connect to your body to support your spiritual, mental, and emotional self.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/treeswing-TG.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4587\" src=\"https:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/treeswing-TG-300x174.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"174\" srcset=\"https:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/treeswing-TG-300x174.jpg 300w, https:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/treeswing-TG-768x445.jpg 768w, https:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/treeswing-TG.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>One good beginning option is to create a daily movement ritual.\u00a0 The options are many here:\u00a0 dance, walking, massage, reflexology, Reiki, exercise, stretches.<\/p>\n<p>When you choose a movement practice, you connect with your body and build a relationship with your power.<\/p>\n<p>This daily movement ritual promotes gratitude.\u00a0 It builds resilience and inspires your creativity.\u00a0 You will set your endorphins free!\u00a0 You will serve those around you better.<\/p>\n<p>You will build a relationship with your power.\u00a0 Joy and mood stability become part of the package.<\/p>\n<p>But, whatever self-care journey you explore, there is no perfect way to explore the options.\u00a0 Use what calls to you.\u00a0 Maybe you seek something which feels comfortable to you.\u00a0 Whatever calls to you, allow yourself to explore whatever feels natural to you.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks for reading this article.\u00a0 Please share it with your favorite social media network and forward it to your family and friends.<\/p>\n<p>You can learn more information about self-care from earlier blog posts.
