As far as I&#8217;m concerned, it ranks right up there with natural childbirth and owning your own business. (I speak from experience.  I&#8217;ve done all three.)<br \/>\nUse soft sided luggage with wheels.  Use shoulder bags.<br \/>\nTravel light.<br \/>\nIf at all possible, reserve an aisle seat.<br \/>\nArrive at the airport early enough to have adequate time for processing yourself through the bureaucratic maze, finding your gate.<br \/>\nAs you pass through the pre boarding screening area, put yourself in an emotional &#8220;neutral&#8221; mode.  I heard a TSA employee discussing this once.   Think of yourself as trance walking through the TSA maze. (He called it &#8220;walking dead&#8221;.)
