Pilates?\u00a0 Golf?<\/p>\n<p>When will you meet?\u00a0 Before work?\u00a0 Lunch hour?\u00a0 Weekends?\u00a0 \u00a0After work?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Second:\u00a0 <\/strong>Use your watch to track your steps.\u00a0 My first fitness watch was a Garmin.\u00a0 My second, a FitBit.\u00a0 My third love is a Samsung.\u00a0 Each of these watches\u00a0 overperformed.\u00a0 My Samsung even takes phone calls.<\/p>\n<p>But, don&#8217;t get distracted by all the wonderful things this wrist jewelry does.\u00a0 Use the treats which attract you.\u00a0 For me, it&#8217;s the magic number I check throughout the day which tells me how many steps I&#8217;ve taken.<\/p>\n<p>Your fitness watch is a step counter.\u00a0 Mine tracks my steps throughout the day.\u00a0 My goal is 10,000 steps a day.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t worry about whether the intensity is low, moderate, or high.\u00a0 I&#8217;m concerned with the total.\u00a0 My goal is to enjoy myself when I know I&#8217;ve reached the magic number:\u00a0 10,000.<\/p>\n<p>Whether you have a Garmin, a Fitbit, a Samsung, or a simple pedometer,\u00a0 when you count your steps, you have a constant coach who travels with you and supports you in your health goals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Third:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>While you&#8217;re at it, go for some strength training.\u00a0 This is not the same thing as exercising with a friend.<\/p>\n<p>Strength training happens when you work all your muscles under the direction of a trainer.\u00a0 Whether you call it resistance training, weight training, or muscle training, you&#8217;re giving your body a bonus class once a week. Strength training is not painful.<\/p>\n<p>The idea is to improve your bone density, firm and trim your body, lower your blood pressure and cholesterol levels, increase your self-esteem, and prevent falls.\u00a0 WOW<\/p>\n<p>Find a qualified teacher and schedule a weekly class\u00a0 on a different day from exercising with a buddy.\u00a0 This is the training where you&#8217;ll start slow and set no upper limits for yourself.\u00a0 The sky is the limit.<\/p>\n<p>Remember:\u00a0 strong is healthy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fourth:\u00a0 <\/strong>Join a yoga class.\u00a0 Yoga is therapeutic.\u00a0 It&#8217;s uplifting.\u00a0 It&#8217;s fun.\u00a0 It&#8217;s also an exercise where you compete only with yourself.\u00a0 There are many, many kinds of yoga and every teacher is different.
