{"id":2674,"date":"2018-04-22T02:08:01","date_gmt":"2018-04-22T02:08:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/?p=2674"},"modified":"2018-04-22T02:08:01","modified_gmt":"2018-04-22T02:08:01","slug":"healthy-investments","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/2018\/04\/22\/healthy-investments\/","title":{"rendered":"Healthy Investments"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/DSCN02101.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1333\" src=\"http:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/DSCN02101-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/DSCN02101-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/DSCN02101.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Every day offers new opportunities to make healthy investments in ourselves.\u00a0 \u00a0And, for me, the best investment I can make is the investment I make in my good health.<\/p>\n<p>Below, I&#8217;ve listed some new things you can choose from to invest in your own good health.\u00a0 Enjoy!<\/p>\n<p>MOVE FOR 30 MINUTES!\u00a0 This can be a quick walk during the day, or a trip to the fitness center to hop on a treadmill for thirty minutes.\u00a0 Or it can mean a bike ride or a dance class or a yoga session.\u00a0 But, whatever you choose, the important thing is\u00a0 you choose to move for at least thirty minutes every day.\u00a0 This healthy\u00a0 investment\u00a0 will pay for itself in dividends many times over.<\/p>\n<p>BRUSH YOUR TONGUE for one minute every day.\u00a0 Your breath will smell better and your mouth will thank you.<\/p>\n<p>KEEP A CALENDAR.\u00a0 Make a healthy investment in a smoother running day.\u00a0 The best way I know to get your day organized and your life simplified is to keep an appointment calendar.\u00a0 It doesn&#8217;t have to be large or elaborate.\u00a0 But, to keep track of where you&#8217;re expected to be each day can reduce stress because you&#8217;ll be less likely to forget an important appointment.<\/p>\n<p>BREAKFAST IS YOUR MOST IMPORTANT MEAL OF THE DAY.\u00a0 Don&#8217;t skip it.<\/p>\n<p>TAKE A VITAMIN.\u00a0 Just choosing which vitamin to take each day can be stress inducing.\u00a0 But, there are a few guidelines which can simplify the job.\u00a0 For starters, skip the time-release formulations.\u00a0 They may not be good for you and sometimes they elevate the price.\u00a0 Select a vitamin which doesn&#8217;t have a lot of additives such as sugars, artificial colors, preservatives.\u00a0 Skip chelated minerals.\u00a0 Vitamins are healthy investments.<\/p>\n<p>GET ALL YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS AT ONE PHARMACY.\u00a0 Pharmacists\u00a0 offer good advice on many illnesses and diseases.\u00a0 Developing a relationship with your pharmacist is a good healthy investment.\u00a0 A pharmacist\u00a0 can be a good source of information for you.\u00a0 But, only if you get all your medicines from the same place.\u00a0 Otherwise, the pharmacist may not be completely aware of your situation.<\/p>\n<p>TRY TO HAVE THE LEAST STRESSFUL DAY POSSIBLE.\u00a0 This means that you begin by promoting a calm attitude.\u00a0 Can you have a stress free commute?\u00a0 Begin each day by completing a to-do list for your day.\u00a0 Be\u00a0 as specific as possible.\u00a0 Print this list out on brightly colored paper (so you won&#8217;t lose it).<\/p>\n<p>SCHEDULE SOME READING TIME.\u00a0 \u00a0Spend at least fifteen minutes each day keeping up with activities in your areas of interest and work.<\/p>\n<p>SLEEP IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU CAN EXPERIENCE.\u00a0 Make sure you schedule enough sleep in every night.\u00a0 I know I keep writing about sleep but, honestly, it&#8217;s one of the most important things you do.\u00a0 When you sleep, your brain, your organs, your skin perform functions that are not done when you are awake.\u00a0 Sleep is essential and enough sleep is important.\u00a0 Sleep is a healthy investment.<\/p>\n<p>KEEP HYDRATED.\u00a0 When we&#8217;re stressed, we forget to drink enough liquids.\u00a0 Liquids keep you awake, alert, refreshed, as well as prevent disease.\u00a0 So, drink up!\u00a0 Drink water, teas, juices.\u00a0 But, mainly, drink water throughout the day.<\/p>\n<p>So, here you have the health lineup for the week.\u00a0 Hopefully you&#8217;ll find things that you can use to be healthier in your daily life.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks for reading this blog post!\u00a0 Please refer this article to your preferred social media network.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll be suggesting more options for healthy living soon.\u00a0 Thanks for reading .<\/p>\n<p>FINALLY,\u00a0 the second edition of &#8220;A Healer&#8217;s Handbook&#8221;
