{"id":2415,"date":"2017-02-02T00:05:59","date_gmt":"2017-02-02T00:05:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/?p=2415"},"modified":"2017-02-04T19:21:59","modified_gmt":"2017-02-04T19:21:59","slug":"sleep-for-a-healthy-lifestyle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/2017\/02\/02\/sleep-for-a-healthy-lifestyle\/","title":{"rendered":"Sleep for a Healthy Lifestyle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Bully-61.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2181\" src=\"http:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Bully-61.jpg\" alt=\"Bully 6\" width=\"110\" height=\"110\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As a reflexology practitioner, it&#8217;s important that you stay as healthy as possible. \u00a0 \u00a0When you \u00a0take care of your body, you \u00a0inspire your client partners to take care of theirs.<\/p>\n<p>Many conditions \u00a0lurk unnoticed for years to develop in the body before they are recognized for what they are: \u00a0diseases that, in the early stages, are seen as fatigue, headaches, insomnia.<\/p>\n<p>But, whatever these conditions are called, they are actually ongoing health issues that no one has solved. \u00a0Often, we just ignore these problems.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I just need to learn to live with this&#8230;&#8230;&#8221; is a remark I hear often. \u00a0The problem is common, persistent, chronic.<\/p>\n<p>Now is the \u00a0time to see these issues for what they are and take steps to deal with them before they become full blown, serious, \u00a0illnesses. \u00a0Look at yourself:<\/p>\n<p>Do you look healthy?<\/p>\n<p>Do you feel healthy?<\/p>\n<p>Do you have enough energy for all the things you want to do each day?<\/p>\n<p>Do you sleep well?<\/p>\n<p>Do you have digestive issues?<\/p>\n<p>Do you feel toxic?<\/p>\n<p>Make 2017 the year you turn your life around.<\/p>\n<p>Begin \u00a0by learning to get enough sleep.<\/p>\n<p>The first step in a healthy sleep is having a healthy sleeping environment.<\/p>\n<p>Do you or your sleep partner snore? \u00a0This can rob you of hours and hours of sleep, necessary to good health. \u00a0People don&#8217;t realize it but snoring can be a symptom of sleep apnea, a serious medical condition which contributes to Alzheimer&#8217;s. \u00a0So, today, begin to address the snoring.<\/p>\n<p>Snoring is not always \u00a0expensive to treat. \u00a0So, make your first step to a healthy year, a trip to a physician to address any and all snoring and sleep issues.<\/p>\n<p>The second thing to do is declutter \u00a0the sleep space. \u00a0Move the home office into another room. \u00a0Move the TV out. \u00a0The bedroom is for sleeping and sex. \u00a0Everything else goes in another part of your home or apartment.<\/p>\n<p>About an hour before you are ready to go to bed, begin to calm yourself down. \u00a0 Prepare your body to sleep.<\/p>\n<p>Taking sleeping pills is not the answer.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, don&#8217;t watch television or play video games immediately before sleep. \u00a0Attend fewer evening meetings.<\/p>\n<p>Is your bed comfortable? \u00a0Do you have enough blankets? \u00a0How about the pillows?<\/p>\n<p>What is your most comfortable sleep position? \u00a0Do you sleep better on your stomach or are you a sleeper who prefers to be face up? \u00a0Do your bed, bedding, and pillows encourage a healthy sleep every night?<\/p>\n<p>Finally, schedule sufficient hours to sleep. \u00a0You need at least eight hours of sleep in order to get the optimum energy and rejuvenation out of your body the next day.<\/p>\n<p>One thing you can do to improve your sleep situation is to receive a reflexology session weekly. \u00a0People universally claim that regular reflexology encourages better sleep. \u00a0So, while you are offering reflexology sessions to your client partners to encourage their improved sleep, schedule \u00a0reflexology sessions for yourself. \u00a0At least, that way, you&#8217;ll know exactly how wonderful a reflexology encouraged sleep really feels.<\/p>\n<p>Make it a habit to offer self-reiki therapy to encourage sleep. \u00a0Teach reiki therapy to your client partners so they can give themselves sessions as they go to bed at night.<\/p>\n<p>One of the secrets to a healthy body is sufficient sleep on a continued basis. \u00a0Share this secret with your client partners!<\/p>\n<p>Thanks for reading this article!<\/p>\n<p>Share this post with your favorite social media network.<\/p>\n<p>Get your copy of &#8220;A Healer&#8217;s Handbook&#8221; today!<\/p>\n<p>Thanks!<\/p>\n<p>Thurman Greco<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As a reflexology practitioner, it&#8217;s important that you stay as healthy as possible. \u00a0 \u00a0When you \u00a0take care of your body, you \u00a0inspire your client partners to take care of theirs.
