\u00a0they have sleep issues. \u00a0 \u00a0And, visiting \u00a0a reflexologist regularly \u00a0to encourage quality sleep is a good thing to do. \u00a0Very few people receiving regular Reflexology for the Spirit \u00a0sessions have problems sleeping.<\/p>\n<p>Regular sessions encourage homeostasis. \u00a0It&#8217;s \u00a0impossible to achieve homeostasis and have sleep issues at the same time.<\/p>\n<p>Your body systems know immediately if you are sleeping properly. \u00a0 \u00a0This is the rule:<\/p>\n<p>The better you sleep, the better your immune system functions.<\/p>\n<p>Your immune system needs to be calm and relaxed \u00a0to function \u00a0properly. \u00a0This won&#8217;t \u00a0happen if you&#8217;re not sleeping properly. \u00a0Your immune system needs your body to receive not only enough sleep but the quality must be good as well.<\/p>\n<p>Your body repairs itself as you sleep. \u00a0Your immune system maintains itself. \u00a0 \u00a0 In order for this to happen, \u00a0stress levels must be turned down. \u00a0This happens during sleep.<\/p>\n<p>Except when it doesn&#8217;t. \u00a0There are sleep situations where the stress levels are not diminished. \u00a0Examples include insomnia and sleep apnea.<\/p>\n<p>Sleep apnea is a serious sleep disorder. \u00a0 One symptom of sleep apnea is snoring. \u00a0Snoring can, in some instances, be dangerous because if it is untreated, it can activate the immune system.<\/p>\n<p>Insomnia is also a threat to a healthy immune system. \u00a0Insomnia has several different causes. \u00a0Insomnia is created when people burn the candle at both ends. \u00a0Anxiety and\/or depression also cause mood disorders in addition to insomnia.<\/p>\n<p>Good quality sleep:<\/p>\n<p>promotes a healthy immune system.<\/p>\n<p>encourages overall good health.<\/p>\n<p>helps slow down aging.<\/p>\n<p>People sleeping well also look better. \u00a0Several \u00a0things \u00a0can be done to promote healthy sleep habits:<\/p>\n<p>Establish a bedtime and stick to it. \u00a0Go to bed at the same time every night.<\/p>\n<p>Create a peaceful sleep environment without<\/p>\n<p>noise<\/p>\n<p>light<\/p>\n<p>television<\/p>\n<p>computer<\/p>\n<p>phones.<\/p>\n<p>Make sure your bed has a<\/p>\n<p>restful mattress<\/p>\n<p>soft sheets<\/p>\n<p>cozy blankets<\/p>\n<p>comfortable pillows.<\/p>\n<p>Establish \u00a0a sleep ritual which prepares your body, your brain, and your immune system for a good night&#8217;s sleep. \u00a0Adopt \u00a0sleep-encouraging techniques such as meditation or self Reiki therapy.<\/p>\n<p>If you have a partner, taking a few reflexology lessons can be a real boost to healthy sleep for you both. \u00a0You can then offer a reflexology exchange in the evenings before you sleep.<\/p>\n<p>Self Reiki is a wonderful sleeping potion. \u00a0Easy to learn and use, it \u00a0encourages sleep.<\/p>\n<p>Use essential oils to encourage sleep. \u00a0Put a few drops of a favorite oil on a tissue and place it inside your pillowcase or in a pocket.<\/p>\n<p>And, finally, don&#8217;t become
