{"id":143,"date":"2014-02-10T09:40:43","date_gmt":"2014-02-10T14:40:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/?p=143"},"modified":"2014-02-10T09:40:43","modified_gmt":"2014-02-10T14:40:43","slug":"thickened-nails-and-skin-spiritual-protection-issues-need-to-be-worked-through","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reflexologyforthespirit.com\/blog\/2014\/02\/10\/thickened-nails-and-skin-spiritual-protection-issues-need-to-be-worked-through\/","title":{"rendered":"Thickened Nails and Skin &#8211; Spiritual Protection Issues Need to be Worked Through"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>This is protection, pure and simple.\u00a0 So, what is being protected?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Secrets?\u00a0 Thoughts?\u00a0 Actions?\u00a0 Beliefs?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">It&#8217;s not important to know.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">So, what are you seeing?\u00a0 Whatever you observe, no matter how unsightly, or benign it appears, you need to\u00a0persuade your client partner to visit a podiatrist to treat the physical issues.\u00a0 As feet age, podiatrists become more important.\u00a0 There comes a point at which the nails need to be professionally trimmed regularly and the issues presenting themselves in the nails must be addressed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Spiritual protection issues need to be worked through&#8230;especially in the older person because issues affecting the nails don&#8217;t heal overnight.\u00a0 It takes regular visits in addition to what the physician or podiatrist has prescribed to work through them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Encourage your client partner to cleanse the colon and then the liver.\u00a0 As always, begin with a colon cleanse first before proceeding to the liver.\u00a0 These cleanses are important because your client may not see any improvement for months and a colon and then liver cleanse can speed up this process somewhat.\u00a0 Cleaning out the body is the first step in a journey to healthy skin and nails.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Where the thickness occurs on the foot\u00a0offers\u00a0\u00a0clues to the issues beyond the physical disease.\u00a0 Look at the foot.\u00a0 Where is the thickened skin?\u00a0 What body part or system is represented?\u00a0 For example, if a person&#8217;s thyroid is out of balance, there will be a thickened place or a callus in that reflex area.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Finally, as a person&#8217;s life (lifestyle, beliefs, health)\u00a0\u00a0begins to change, you may see feet with peeling skin.\u00a0 Hurray!\u00a0 (Providing this is the change s\/he wants.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">When working the feet of a person with thickened nails and skin, reflex the points that represent the problem area.\u00a0 For example, if the thickened skin is in the area of the thyroid, work that area as well as the endocrine system.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>SYSTEMS TO WORK:<\/strong>\u00a0 Work the systems related to whatever diagnosis the primary medical care person has given to your client partner.\u00a0 Work the immune system, nervous system, urinary system, endocrine system, digestive system, liver and solar plexus.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>ESSENTIAL OILS:\u00a0 <\/strong> myrrh, lemon, frankincense, tea tree, lemongrass, oregano, wintergreen, peppermint, tangerine, lavender.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Many conditions exist for which Reflexology for the Spirit is appropriate.\u00a0 However, there is much more information to share with you.\u00a0 When a client partner comes to you with an issue which you feel may have spiritual layers, contact me and I&#8217;ll write about it in a post for you.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Thank you for reading this blog.\u00a0 It is an honor\u00a0and a pleasure\u00a0to serve you in this way.\u00a0 As always, this post comes to you from my healing space in scenic, downtown Woodstock, NY.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Peace and food for all.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Thurman Greco<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is protection, pure and simple.\u00a0 So, what is being protected?
