Juice Cleanse Tips

  1.  Begin your cleanse by spending a few days eating fresh fruit, salads, sprouts, nuts, and seeds and avoid all processed foods.  Maintain a raw food diet for about three days before you  actually focus on the juice part of the cleanse.
  2. Make sure the water you drink is the cleanest  you can find.  A big decision here is whether you prefer ultrapurified water or spring water.   This choice is a personal one.  I’m happy with either one.  When I’m doing a cleanse, I prefer ultrapurified water.    When I am at home and just drinking water on a daily basis, I prefer spring water.  I like spring water because I live in the Hudson Valley of New York State  where I have access to superior water.  I know what spring the  water comes from, even.  In some cases I’ve actually visited a spring and personally seen it.  I never drink water shipped in from another continent, country, state, or even another part of New York State.  That being said, I would probably make different decisions about the water I drink if I lived in another part of the country.  Certainly, if I lived in a foreign country, I would do different things.
  3. When having a cleanse, be sure to rest several times during the day.    Include some guided meditations that you’ve chosen especially for this cleanse occasion.
  4. Set aside time for reflexology sessions and chakra healing sessions.  Begin each day with a Reiki therapy session if you can.
  5. End your cleanse by eating easy-to-digest water, plump fruits and leafy green salads.  Avoid processed foods for as long as you possibly can.  This is crucial to the success of a cleanse.

Reflexologists, now is a good time of the year to conduct a cleanse as a group with several of your fellow practitioners and client partners.  Include a nutritionist in the group to help supervise the cleanse.

The First Chakra and Reflexology

All 7 of the major Chakras are reflected in our feet.  They line up on the spine and they relate to energy centers found on the body.  The first Chakra is found at the base of the spine.

The reflex point for the first Chakra is located on the heel of both feet.  First Chakra issues are concerned with

security

survival

connection to our earth – our environment

issues with grounding

one’s connection to the community

protection

FOR ME, IT’S IMPOSSIBLE TO LEARN ABOUT FIRST CHAKRA ISSUES WITHOUT QUESTIONING:

Have  you put down roots?  Or are unable to establish a home?

Do you find it hard to move ahead in life?  Or, are you unable to let go of your family?

Do you feel vulnerable?  Are you refusing to budge?

Do you eat properly?

Do you  hang onto unhealthy relationships?

Can you receive?

Can you give?

Are you in a rut?

Are you afraid of change, even if it is positive?

Are you in your body?

Are you controlling?

There are many first Chakra phrases using the word “heel”:

Cool your heels

Down at your heels

Well heeled

Take to your heels

Drag your heels

Achilles heel

I’m sure you can come up with even  more.

Fear is a first Chakra issue.  Fear is a culprit in almost every disease, health issue, and problem we encounter in life.  Fear keeps us all from being the totally healthy beings we were born to be.

We carry fear over from past lives.  And, if you don’t believe in past life issues, just skip them and think for a few minutes about the fear issues we carry from childhood.  We can be perfectly rational adults and still carry fear baggage around.  Sometimes I see clients whose fear issues weigh more than their physical bodies weigh.  Many obese people are holding fear in the form of extreme fat around their bodies.

If you and/or your client partners want to be healthy, it’s important to have a balanced first Chakra.  There are several ways to balance one’s first Chakra:

Reflexology for the Spirit sessions  offer homeostasis which is the balance of all body systems.

Reiki therapy sessions balance the Chakras.

Meditation.  Set aside a few minutes daily to meditate on a balanced Chakra system.  The first Chakra needs to be grounded.  Take time each day to listen to what your body tells you.  If you listen, it will never lie to you.  If you listen, you will know when you are not grounded and when your Chakras are not balanced.

It is also easy to tell how balanced your first Chakra is by observing your hips.  What is the range of movement for your hips, knees, and ankles?  How do they feel?  Your ankles, knees, and hips move you forward in this world.  They keep you balanced.  Stability is important for the first Chakra.  Pain, tightness, restricted movement, and inflexibility are strong indicators of a need to balance the first Chakra.

Physically,  the  first Chakra governs 3 systems:

Immune System

Skeletal System

Lower Digestive Tract.

When you work with your client partner’s first chakra, you offer an opportunity for increased self awareness.  What a gift you give!

Forgiveness Meditation with Mary, Queen of Angels

Virgin Mary

Find a quiet place:

A room, or a corner of a room.

A garden.

A place in a park.

Any place where you can be quiet and relax.

Sit quietly as you feel  tension leave your body.  Feel it drain out of your fingertips and toes.

Take a few breaths.  Breathe deeply as you inhale and then exhale.

Now, in your mind, take yourself to a meadow.  Sit quietly on a rock located in this meadow.  Look around you and notice all you see.

You have come to this meadow to learn to offer forgiveness.  You’ve tried throughout your life to offer forgiveness at times when you feel you’ve been wronged.  You’ve never felt truly successful in your efforts to forgive someone.

So, you are here today, sitting quietly on a rock located in a meadow.

A person comes to join you.  You see Mother Mary, the Queen of Angels.

As she  comes to join you, take note of how she looks.  What color are her robes?  What is her hair like?  What does her face look like?  Try to notice every detail.

She joins you to help you learn to forgive.  Mary will remain with you as long as you need while she assists you in your efforts to forgive.

Mary is here to teach you…

without words,

without pictures…

how to be silent and learn to forgive.

Spend time with her in deep silence, meditating on  teachings she offers you now. You know that, as the mother of Jesus, she experienced life events requiring serious forgiveness.  Mary persevered.  You feel now the experiences Mary had in her life which caused her to learn to live the act of forgiveness.

It’s not necessary to know anything about Mary in order to understand what she’s teaching you.  It’s not necessary to be a Catholic, or a Christian even.  Mary is recognized not only in Christian theology, but also in Orthodox and Muslim teachings.  Mary’s story is universal, touching us all.  Her life motivates us to all learn to forgive.  Mary belongs to all of us…no matter what our religious beliefs.

When you feel that you have absorbed all you can at this time,  you know  it is best to go.  You thank Mary, Queen of Angels for visiting with you and for teaching you to forgive.

You know  Mary is here for you.  Feeling gratitude, love, light, you know you can return to this meadow  any time you need to visit with Mary again.

Guided Meditation – An Angel with a Heart Message

 

 

Page0002 (2)Begin this meditation as you find a safe, quiet place for yourself.

Make yourself comfortable by either sitting in a chair or lying face up on a sofa or other flat surface.  Turn on some soft, soothing music.

Take a few  breaths as you prepare to focus on your breathing.

Focus on your breathing now.  As you inhale, breathe relaxation in through your nose. Visualize a happy and expanded heart center.

Exhale now as you breathe out stress and anxiety through your mouth.

Breathe in relaxation through your nose as you visualize your heart’s unconditional love.

As you exhale, breathe out disappointment through your mouth.

As you breathe in relaxation through your nose, focus on joy and happiness.

Breathe out heaviness and stagnation through your mouth.

As you breathe in relaxation through your nose, listen to your heart.

Breathe out anger and bitterness through your mouth.

You are calm and centered now.  You look around and notice your surroundings have changed.  You see two beautiful chairs in a quiet meadow.

Notice how the chairs appear.  Are they wood?  Upholstered?  Notice the details so you can remember them for the future.

You realize this whole area has a comforting  beautiful rose colored glow.  You see  an angel  dressed in rose colored garments.  You know immediately that this angel is with you to help you listen to your heart’s wisdom and guidance.

As the angel sits down in the chair next to you, notice the details of how this angel looks.  How is the angel dressed?

As you sit by the angel for a few moments, you ask the angel to help you heal your heart and open it for love and wisdom to come your way.

You also ask the angel for healing wisdom appropriate to your situation.

You sit for a few moments absorbing this wisdom.  You know that you may receive this wisdom now but you may also receive this wisdom at some point in the next few days.

You sit quietly next to this angel knowing that wisdom will be revealed to you in the coming days.  You feel that you might receive this wisdom through an event or a dream or through words read.  You know that you will receive this wisdom when the time is appropriate.

It is time for you to go now.

You know from deep within yourself that you can return to this beautiful chair in this meadow any time you want or need to visit with this angel again.

You close your eyes for a few moments and pause a final time.

Then, you begin to stretch a bit and return to the room as you left it a few minutes ago.

Guided Meditation: An Angel Points the Way to a Digestive System in Perfect Health

SEEK OUT A COMFORTABLE PLACE WHERE YOU WILL NOT BE INTERRUPTED.    Turn on some quiet music if you like.  Sit or lie down in a comfortable position.    Feel your body as it becomes comfortable in this place you have chosen.

TAKE A FEW DEEP BREATHS.   Now, take a few relaxing breaths.  As you breathe in, feel the healing air you are bringing into your body.  As you inhale now, feel the pure healing air as it  enters your nose, throat, and lungs.  Each time you inhale, allow your body to breathe in more healing air into your lungs and then into every artery, and finally every vein in your body.

With each exhale, you release toxins, stress, negativity which have collected throughout your digestive system.  Your exhales are gently  detoxing your system.

As you are breathing in this healing air, you become aware of a  a special healing light accompanying these inhales.  As you inhale, feel  the healing light wash over your body.  Feel this healing light as it bathes your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual being.

Now, notice that this light is focusing on your digestive system, washing toxins and any issues away.  This healing light  gives health to your digestive system beginning with the mouth and traveling down through the esophagus, stomach, liver, small and large intestines, rectum and anal canal.  This healing light brings health to every organ down to the cellular level.

Breathe deeply and naturally now for a few moments as you receive the nurturing energy from this light.  Allow your digestive system to melt into this healing moment.  Allow your digestive system to absorb this purity and perfection.  Relax a bit more and listen for the sounds of the forest which is enfolding you.

You find yourself on a path in the forest.   As you move down the path, you feel the air on your skin.  You smell the soil, the leaves.   You hear the forest sounds:  the birds, rustling leaves, small animals skittering.  The healing light you breathed in a few moments ago is allowing you to become one with the forest.

YOU NOW BEGIN TO NOTICE A FEELING OF HEALTH.   You feel very alive.

You look down the path and see an angel ahead.  You notice everything about this angel who is welcoming you.  You will want to remember this angel and this place when you return for  visits.  Notice the colors, the textures, the sounds, the smells.

This angel is here to help you focus on the health of your digestive system.

You feel that this angel is here to help you be healthy and stay healthy.

Your angel begins to share with you how your body is now working as it properly should.  You pause a few moments and receive the  wisdom this angel has for you.

You begin to gain insight about what blocks need to be released, what organs need more nourishment, how to channel stress and negative emotions into positive life experiences.

AS YOU GAIN INSIGHT, YOU BEGIN TO HAVE YOUR OWN QUESTIONS.  You know this angel has the answers for you.  You know  that if the answers do not come immediately, there is no need for concern.  You know from the angel’s presence that the answers will come in another time or at another place.

It’s time for you to go now.  It’s time for you to return to your room and your safe, comfortable place where you began this meditation.     As you leave the forest and return to the comfortable place in the room, you feel the healing light stay with you.

You return to the moment relaxed, refreshed, knowing you can visit this forest and this  angel whenever you want.

Two Angels Help Heal Your Spirit – a Guided Meditation

Turn on some meditative music which you like.

Find a quiet place where you can be comfortable:  a special chair,  recliner,  massage table; someplace where you feel safe and can relax.

Now, get comfortable.  Begin relaxing.  Begin to breathe in relaxation and breathe out tension and negativity.  Breathe slowly and deeply from your abdomen.  Each in breath brings more and more relaxation.  Each exhale releases more and more stress.  Breathe so that you have a rhythm of centered peace, and calm.

As you become more centered and calm, you realize you are walking along a path in a  lush green forest.  You have a strong sense that you are in just the place where you are supposed to be.  You breathe in the woody scents of the forest around you.  These scents and aromas make you feel alive and well.

As you continue walking along, you feel the path beneath your feet.  You listen to the forest sounds:

squirrels rustling,

birds singing,

bees buzzing,

chipmunks scurrying.

You become one with this space.   You have a strong sense of belonging here.

As you walk along the forest path, you see a bench beside you.  Two angels are seated on this bench.   As you walk up to these angels you look carefully at them, noticing every detail of their appearance, their clothing, their halos, auras.

As you walk up to the bench you feel a strong sense of calm, and relaxation.  Each step toward the angels on the bench brings yet more relaxation.

You begin to feel that this space is yours.  You stand for a moment to enjoy this special space.  You notice details  which you will remember in the future as you return to this space which exists just for you.

Then, you turn your attention once again to the two angels.   These two angels are beautiful, perfect in every way.  You become aware that these two angels possess a special knowledge  to share with you.  They offer you knowledge of the infinite and they offer love.

These two angels are here, in this special forest, to answer any questions which you may have.  They are here to listen to your fears, hold you if you are lonely, and share their wisdom with you.

They invite you to sit down with them.  You join them on the bench.  You know they are not here to judge you.  They are offering you love, comfort, and guidance.

They are with you now to answer whatever questions you may have.  They want you to know that you are  important to them.

Ask whatever questions you have.  Be confident that the answers you receive will help to heal you.  You may ask more than one question.

Pause now for a moment to receive answers.  Know  that some answers may come at this moment and others may come over the next few days. Be open to these answers.

After pausing for a few moments,  it is time to return to your surroundings.  Once again, you become aware of your breathing.  You open your eyes to the room you are in.  You still enjoy the sense of peace, comfort, calm  that you felt in the forest.

You know you are special to these two angels and you know you can return to the bench in the forest anytime you want or need.

Guided Meditation – An Angel Brings Forgiveness

 

Page0002 (2)Begin this guided meditation by putting on some soft music.

Now, get in a comfortable place.  Sit in a comfortable chair, or lay face up on a sofa or sit back in a recliner.  The important thing here is comfort.

Begin this meditation by breathing slowly.  Breathe in relaxation as you take deep breaths.  Breathe out stress, negativity.

Allow yourself to sigh, and yawn.  Stretch if you feel like it.

Pay attention to your body.  Feel your body relax as you breathe in fresh, cleansing air.

Feel your body let go of negativity as you exhale.  Releasing  negativity allows your body to feel a little lighter.  It allows you to relax even more.

Every breath allows you to become more relaxed and to let go of the buildup of negativity.  You begin to feel the warmth of comfort and safety.

As your breathing continues, you find yourself in a meadow…a meadow created just for you.  Your breathing allows you to relax even more in the warmth of the sun.  Your breathing allows you to become one with the meadow.  You become aware of the sights, sounds, fragrances, wildlife, of  the meadow.

This meadow offers you peace.  This meadow offers you an opportunity to let go of negativity.

You look around and see an angel.  This angel  stands beside you in a beautiful clearing with  butterflies, flowers, birds, grasses, trees.

As you see this angel, you realize that now is a time for you to give up past negativity.  This is an opportunity for you to let go of feelings of negativity, being stuck, inferiority, shame, confusion, disappointment.

You turn to the angel.

You see you are being given an opportunity to travel down the different paths of your life.

You are being given an opportunity to safely explore lessons learned through past experiences.

You are being given an opportunity to acknowledge that you no longer need to hold onto negativity, disappointment.

With the angel beside you, you feel empowered – safe.

With the angel beside you, you are ready to offer forgiveness as you grow beyond this negativity that has been holding you back.

With the angel beside you, you are in a space where your heart can open and receive positive energy in the place that once held negativity.

With the angel beside you, you are able to spontaneously accept  giving up negativity of all kinds.  This negativity is replaced by forgiveness not only for  other persons and events but also for yourself.

With the angel beside you, you  are instantly moving forward in life as you embrace new energy and a new life force.

With the angel beside you, you know  all is forgiven…forever.

You turn to the angel and look deeply at this glorious being shrouded in green who has accompanied you on this  journey.  As you examine this angel deeply, you know  you have received an incredible gift…the gift of forgiveness.

You thank the angel for such a generous, life changing gift.

Now you return to the room knowing that the angel  in green is waiting for you any time you want to journey down the path of forgiveness again.

A Heart Message Meditation From an Angel

As you breathe in relaxation through your nose, listen to your heart.

You know immediately that this angel is with you to help you listen to your heart’s wisdom and guidance.

You sit by this angel for a moment as you ask the angel to help you heal and regenerate your heart.

You also ask the angel to listen with you to your heart’s healing wisdom and guidance.

The two of you together listen to your heart’s message.  You take the time to receive this message which the angel is sharing with you.

You realize that this message is important for you and you also realize that you want to remain open to other messages which may come your way over the next few days.

You then realize it’s time to return to your space.

You thank the angel for visiting you.  You thank the angel for sharing wisdom and healing with you.

As you prepare to return to your space, you know that you can return to this  area with its beautiful bench and angel at any time you want.

You are now totally relaxed, grounded, and calm.  You feel loved.  You are ready to return to your activities of the day.

Guided Meditation – An Angel Invites You In

If you want, turn on some quiet meditation music.

Get comfortable, either seated or lying flat, face up.  Make sure your spine is straight and your hands are relaxed.

Focus on your breathing as you relax with each inhalation.  Breathe in relaxation.  Breathe out any tension you feel.  Breathe in relaxation.  Breathe out tension.

Gently and slowly, scan your body as you check for any place where you may be holding tension.  Head, face, neck, shoulders.

Breathe in relaxation.  Breathe out tension.  Continue to scan your body for places where you may be holding tension.  Check your chest, abdomen, back, arms, hands, fingers.

Breathe in relaxation.  Breathe out tension.  Now scan your hips, legs, feet, and toes.  Breathe in relaxation.  Breathe out the last of your tension.

Now, check how your entire body feels.  Breathe in more relaxation.  Breathe out the last of your fatigue.

Make your eyes soft now.  Look around you.  You find yourself walking on a path.

As you walk along, you see an angel seated on a bench beside this path.  As you approach the bench, the angel stands up and joins you on your walk.

You feel immediately comforted by this angel.  You notice what this angel looks like.  How does this angel to you?  You notice every detail so you’ll be able to remember this moment better.

You know, within yourself,  this angel is here for you.  And, you know  this angel has a gift for you.

The two of you walk along this path.  You are relaxed, peaceful, content.  You feel comfortable within yourself.  The temperature around you is just right for the moment.  You are enjoying being in this natural setting and you are enjoying being with the angel.

You feel the warmth of the sun on your skin.  You notice a slight breeze.  You hear the gentle sounds of wildlife as you walk along the path.

As the two of you walk along, you see a house ahead on the path.  Now you know why the angel has joined you today.

You notice the details of this house just as you noticed the details of the angel.  You take note of the size of the house.  You observe the windows, the doors, the siding.

You pay close attention to the landscaping.  You see all of the details of the yard…the flowers…the trees.  The house, the yard, everything is perfect.

The angels walks over to the front door and opens it for you.  You step inside and immediately notice every detail.

You are filled with gratitude, knowing withing yourself that this house is yours.  It’s a gift from the angel.

You explore the house now, noticing colors, textures, furnishings, objects.

Then, you select a relaxing activity to enjoy in your house.   You are in this house to relax and enjoy yourself.

Finally, you and the angel know it’s time to return to your path.  The angel urges you to remember all the details of your house.  You know the house belongs to you and is waiting for you anytime you need it.

You and the angel go to the door now, open it, walk outside, and then close it.  The two of you walk down the path.  After a few steps you look back at the house and know you will return whenever you need.

Then, you thank the angel for this gift which you can cherish and use whenever you need.  The two of you come to the bench.  The angel sits down on the bench and waves goodbye to you as you walk down the path again.

You turn and offer a heartfelt “thank you” and continue on.  You are relaxed, at peace.  Your breathing continues to be easy and deep.

Once again you are aware of your surroundings as you return to the space where you began your meditation.  You remember the angel and you remember the house with gratitude.

A Guided Meditation – An Angel, a Gift, and a Safe Place

Page0002 (2)For this meditation, the first thing to do is get as comfortable as possible.  This means being in a comfortable chair, recliner, or lying face up on a massage table or other flat surface.

Straighten your spine, relax your shoulders, allow your chair, recliner, or massage table to support your body.

Now, make sure your clothes are comfortable.  Loosen anything that is tight or constraining.

Uncross your arms, legs.

Focus on your breath as you go within.  Gently , bring your awareness to your breathing.  Be aware of how you relax as you breathe in and out.  Feel your spine, neck, shoulders, arms, and legs relax as you breathe.

Use your breath to allow yourself to become more relaxed.  As you breathe in and out, use your out breathe to release tension.  Use your in breath to bring relaxation and appreciation into  your body through your respiratory system.

As you breathe in, continue to allow your breath to bring relaxation and appreciation to your entire body, ending with your feet.  Breathe deeply and relax with each in breath and each out breath.

As you become more and more relaxed, you realize you have a visitor,  a very special visitor in this space with you.  Quietly, as you breathe in and out, you see an angel close by.  This angel has come to visit with you for a few moments and to bring you a special gift.

Notice  this angel now.  How does this angel appear?  What colors do you see?

As you note the angel’s size, colors, and general appearance, you become aware of the angel offering you a special gift.  As you make contact with this angel and begin to communicate, you learn that your angel is giving you a beautiful glass bottle with a stopper.

You notice what this bottle looks like, how large it is, what color the glass is and what the stopper in the top of the jar looks like.  Your angel offers you this special jar and you are happy to accept it.

You begin to realize that this jar has a special purpose just for you.  You see that this jar is empty now and that it is waiting to be filled by you.

You know that your angel wants you to take your burdens and put them in this beautiful container.  So, you remove the stopper and begin to place your burdens in the bottle:  work, anxieties, apprehensions, stress, fear, dangers, questions, pain.

Continue to place these concerns and burdens in this bottle until you have filled it  with every concern you have.

Now, very carefully, place the stopper on the bottle.  As you are holding this bottle filled  with your concerns, you look around and see a  table nearby.  You gently place the bottle on the table.

You realize that by placing your problems and concerns in the jar on the table,  you are disposing of each and every one of them.

You know that, should you need them, you can return for them.  But, you also know that if you don’t need them, they are gone.  Thank you angel.

You thank your special angel for this wonderful gift.  What a lovely thing…a bottle especially created to hold your worries.

You now become aware of your breathing again.  You are ready to return to the present.  You breathe deeply for a few more moments and then begin to gently move your hands and arms, feet and legs.

You are back in the room now.  Rested.  Relaxed.  Happy to have visited with your angel.  Happy to have received the beautiful bottle with the fancy stopper.  Happy to have disposed of troubles.
